I wasn't happy with the outcome.

Zim got thrown into the office, falling right before my feet. He looked up, not expecting for me to help him get on his feet.

"What is going on here?!"

Gesturing to the woman at the desk, she took over, "Congratulations Zim, you are adopted!"

"HUH?!" looking form me to the woman, the green boy couldn't process of what just happened. I gave it another try, "I adopted you, that means, I am responsible to take care of you from now on"

"HUH?!!!!"

"For god sake...you get out of here!"

"Ah, no I get it" I fear that this was the worst decision of my life. Zim was of no help when it came to the paperwork. He refused to clear some information about his skin condition, family tree or even his age. Above that, there was one more thing to deal with, something that the alien couldn't believe is happening.

"Miss Y/N, you also get a house with a front garden. You own this place until this boy is old enough to take over"

"WHAT?!!!" For once, we were both thinking the same thing. Adopting him is already bad enough, but also an entire house? What a minute... "Are you saying that I have to live with this kid?"

"Miss, you don't adopt so you can ditch it later. You got a huge responsibility to raise this kid to become a good citizen to the society"

I was at loss for words. Taking Zim was my only reason to come here, now I got a home, a child, and a robot to live with. Curse you Dib! But it seems that I wasn't the only one not happy with the situation, Zim is completely losing his mind right now, having a tantrum. No one cares about this opinion, grabbing the boy by his neck and shove him right into my arms. It was a weird feeling to have this green kid in my arms. Zim got all silent now, looking at me with his big round eyes.

Without further ado, we got kicked out of the orphanage.

Gir flew over the fence by the staff, stuffed with all the waffles from the stand. Before I must pay for them all, I grabbed the robot and got the hell out of here. Zim sat in his seat, looking really annoyed in my direction. A few minutes passed and no word came out of his mouth...just a long and deadly glare...

"What is it?!"

"You!" was his reaction, pointing towards my head, "Why did you kidnap me?!"

"Adopt...it adopt Zim"

"Silence! I know what you are up to. You know what I am!"

I sighted, "Of course..."

"You will never...."

"...a spoiled brat, with a skin condition, loudmouth, horrible behaviour and ...eww... bad breath."

He hesitated for a minute, "...yes, yes I am. That's normal, right?"

"I can't tell, never had a kid before that acted like you"

"Is this part of your evil plan? Kidnapping me, experimenting on my sqeedlyspooch? Tell me!"

The more he spoke, the more I got suspicious if there was a hidden camera somewhere, "You sound like a bad villain from a movie. How long have you been on you your own?" as I stopped the car next to his house, I leaned over to him, "And for the last time, I adopted you! And what should I experiment on? A squeakysponge?"

"I will find out about you; you will regret the day that you challenge the might ZIM!!!!!!!!!!!"

"...I am sitting right next to you, you know..."

This kid was already doing my head in, he is even worse than the damn robot in the backseat, humming his stupid doom song. Hoping that I could get some rest for the day, my legs got me towards his lawn, only for Zim to yell at me, "Get off my property filthy human!"

"If memory serves me right, it is now MY house"

"I will never give you my base!"

"Ah yeah, that underground thing"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I knew it! You are after my base!!!!!!!!"

I clicked my tongue, taking the key I received from the staff and opened the front door, "Chill your base man. Just get in, we got a lot to talk about."

"I told you to get out!" hard to believe that this tiny thing tried to push a grown up aside. Grabbing his head, he began to fight with my hands. At least Gir had left me alone, sitting on the sofa again and watches some scary monkey on TV.

"Don't touch me smelly monster!"

"You're the one to talk, you smell like toilet. Anyway, clearly, we need some rules when we must live together, I have to tell the prof..."

"...you won't stay in my house, not while I am around!"

"Fine! I call the orphanage and send your butt back there. Either I stay or you go back, your choice Zim"

The green boy was fighting with himself, trying not to have a tantrum again, "...FINE!"

"...that's a good boy. First rule: Don't insult me anymore, I got a name, and you will use it...its Y/N. Second: You go to school and come home on time, homework after dinner, bedtime at eleven and learn to behave. That's it for now."

Unfortunately, Zim had his own rules for me, "I will...uh...obey..." that took him some guts to say that out loud, "...but you will also obey mine."

"Go on"

"First: You will not enter my base without permission. Second: Don't interfere with my work and last one, you won't tell anyone about what you seen. Understood?!"

His voice is really annoying, "Yes, I am standing right in front of you, no need to shout!!!!!!!!"

Surprised he held his head, "I am right here, no need to shout"

That kid is despicable.

Ding Dong!

"..." Starring at Zim, he just looked up at me. No one dares to move to the door. Gir looked irritated at us, "Someone is at the door!"

"Isn't anyone to get that?" No reaction.

Letting out a loud moan, I turned on my heel, "I'll get it." Only to see the next problem to occur. It comes in a tiny form with a trench coat and glasses.

"Hey, what are you doing here...wait...ZIM?! What are you doing here? And you? What is going on here?!"
