⚠️Swearing (I don't know if anyone actually cares but just in case lol)⚠️

You parked your car after work, in the driveway of your home, which you shared with your roommates; Edd, Matt, Tom, and your boyfriend of 3 years, Tord. It was only about 7pm, and the weather app on you phone had notified you that it was going to storm soon.

As you entered the house, you caught a whiff of freshly baked cookies. You followed the scent to the kitchen, and saw Edd, who had just taken the cookies out of the oven.

"Oh, hey (y/n)! You got home just in time! Mind getting me a cooling tray?" Edd asked you, smiling softly. "Oh, sure! Where are they?" You responded.

"Top shelf in the left cabinet."
"Top shelf?"
"Yes."
"Edd."
"Yes?"
"How the fuck am I supposed to reach the top shelf??" You were extremely short compared to the others in the house, so it would be illogical for him to ask if you weren't the only one around.

"Oh uhh.. Stepping stool?"

You sighed and grabbed the stepping stool, setting it up and stepping up. You reached for the cooling trays, still a little too short to reach. Once you managed to grab one, a bunch of pans fell out, causing you to fall backwards.

You prepared for impact, but instead you didn't hit the ground. You opened your eyes, and there was your boyfriend, holding you in his arms.

"Quite the fall there, hm?~" He said as he gently set you down. You hugged him, smiling softly. "Thank you Tord! You saved me from a nasty fall."

"Of course, love. I wouldn't want you to get hurt." He kissed your head, and you blushed lightly. "Quit flirting you two. We don't want to see that." Tom said as he entered the room. Tord shot a glare in his direction.

"Aww come on Tom, it's cute that they're in love! Quit being such a buzzkill!" Edd defended. "Yeah Tom, quit being a buzzkill." Tord added in. "Shut up you stupid commie." Tom retaliated.

"Or what? You going to hit me or something?"
"Maybe I will."
"Guuuys stop fighting!" You spoke up.
"Fine fine." Tord replied. "But I still get to give you kisses even if he's around." With that, he placed a soft kiss on your lips.

"So are we still doing that movie night tonight?" Matt asked as he walked into the room. "That's the plan!" Edd responded. You looked at the time, seeing it was 8pm already!

Soon enough, you and Tord were bundled up in a few blankets, while Edd sat beside you two and Matt and Tom sat on the floor in front of you. You got about 30 minutes into the movie, before the storm took out the power.

"Damnit!" Tom shouted. "Just when he was about to confess his love to her!"
"Well, now what..?" Matt asked.

"I'll light some candles so we can see." Edd said, getting up and heading to the kitchen, coming back with some candles. He then lit them. "That's better." Matt said.

You leaned your head on Tord's shoulder sleepily. You were already quite tired, so being in the dark didn't help. Tord started running his fingers through your hair gently. "We can head to bed now I suppose." Tord said, getting up and picking you up.

"Sounds like a plan to me." Tom responded, walking up the stairs to head to his room. Tord carried you up to his room, and laid down with you in his arms. You yawned and snuggled close. "Sweet dreams, my love." Tord said softly, before you fell asleep.
