The World Is Not Mine
I can no longer find my rest
Not on my pillow, not even in a mattress
I can no longer find my happiness
Not on my smiles, not even in my eyes
I can no longer find my comfort
Not on my safe space, not even in my sort
I can no longer find my place
Not on where I am or even in my stance
I'm lost and weakly exhausted
I can no longer walk through
But I don't need just a rest
I'm exhausted and unknowingly lost
I can no longer stand on my feet
But I don't need just a lift
I need more of the world could give
But the world is not mine
So, I can't ask for it.
