Should Have Said NO

I have kept in my heart all my stored regrets

When you touched my bare being, you've left me a scar

I should not have it dress

I should not have it as one of my secrets

I have regretted so much walking into the room

I should have said no when you reach for invitation

I should have step back when you pulled me into your direction

I should have done better and created a better loom

I loathe myself for letting you escape

I should have stand up in defense for myself

I should have said no but I didn't

And now, still no good, still hiding under my defenseless cape.
