Cannot Even Say No

I wanted so bad to free from their grip

I wanted to talk back but my lips are sealed

I wanted to push them away

Yet I know I cannot even say no

I wanted so bad to end the cycle here

I wanted to get to new roads or new diversion

I wanted to step out of this spectrum

Yet I know I cannot even say no

I have dreamt as bright as the stars

It went too far and lost its light

My dreams are now dead with an elusive bright

Just because I cannot even say no.
