Background
I know I am not special
I am not a rose but a mere wild flower
I know I am insignificant
I am just the white shade in your pencil colors
I know I don't matter
I am just a crumpled paper that you throw away
I know it is something I shouldn't be sad about
I am not someone for the world to worry about
I know and it hurts more
Because I just thought maybe I was special
Now knowing I never was
And just a mere background of the canvas.
