Shadows
I have been a secret all my life
My worries, my pain, even the cry of my heart
My disgust, my anger, even the words I want to lash out
I have kept it hidden and that made me scarred
I made a chamber of darkness
Who would have thought that light can see through it?
I wanted every part of me concealed
And I thought I would keep it forever
But life is a circus full of clowns, an ironic arena
I wanted keeping it in the dark
But light is the only thing that heals
And to have it in me is exposing my shadows
This is me and my story
All the pain is my secret and even my healing is sacred
I have done it in silent, I have won it alone
My shadows are now in the light, there's nothing I can hide.
