It was just like yesterday Aisha's wedding was fixed and now its a matter of few days for her to become a Mrs, under someone's control, care, love, attention and everything and not her parents.
He will have more rights on her and she will have to be dedicated and submissive in fulfilling all his needs, her responsibilities and duties as a wife.
The word "marriage" scared her to the core because she can't imagine herself living with a man under the same roof as her husband.
Just the thought of it, scared not only her body but her intestines too.
Will she be able to fulfill her right?,
Will she be able to fulfill his needs when he demands his right?,
Will she be a good wife to him?,
Will she fall in love with him?,
Is he the kind of husband she always pray for?,
Will she be able to tolerate him, will she, will she, willl she.....?
These are questions she kept asking herself but couldn't get the answer but one thing she kept in mind is as long as Allah is with her, He will always show her the light to every darkness.
They will really miss her in that house especially Baba, Mama, Yaya Faruk, Fadila and the maids working in the house because she is someone who makes the people around her happy and their smiles will never fade away as long as she is there because she lives just like her name; "she who lives."
So, it was planned prior to her knowledge that they will organize a small family get together in celebration of her, even Mama and Baba were part of the plan.
Everything was set up, they're just waiting for her arrival.
The living room was sparkling and "SOON TO BECOME MRS" was boldly displayed, as she stepped her feet into the house, the living room was dark, there was no source of light coming from any angle.
"Mama!." She called
"Baba!" I'm back
"Yaya Faruk!" still no response.
"Fadila!" She called again.
"What's happening here" she voiced and start panicking because she is afraid of darkness and before she knows what's happening the lights were turn ON and different colors of ballons were thrown at her.
Mama, Baba, Fadila and Yaya Faruk were all holding one ballon with the text "Soon to become a Mrs, we will surely miss you." Ya Allah! She exclaimed.
"what's all this" she said with a wide smile on her face.
Alas!, they got what they want, to see her happy.
"Don't you like it?" Yaya Faruk said.
"What?, I love it." She repiled.
Glad you did, without wasting much of our time let's start our activities.
Fadila said, the chatter box of the house.
They played icebreaker, twenty questions games and there were a few speeches giving, the night turned out pretty fun and the family picnic was probably the most fun part of the reunion.
The whole family gathered at the living room where closing remarks was made and they spoke about the good time they had together as a one big family.
"Mamana" Baba called Aisha out of nowhere.
"Na'am Baba"(yes father). She answered.
"you see right now I know that you might be angry with your dad but Mamana, all what I'm doing is for your own happiness,"
