"I was blinded by hatred and anger towards something that's not mine, I was willing to get that thing no matter what it will take from me," Aminu's voice filled the room.
He is ready to talk after the beating and bruises he got from the the police officers.
Mai Martaba, Fareed, Ashraf and Faruk were the only ones present, it was when Fareed saw him that he remembered him chasing his wife some years back.
"Farha and I are known to be insparable, for our bound was unbreakable, we were those kind of lovers that sometimes people referred as Romeo and Juliet because our love is something we're proud to show and we can take the next step as long as we're together." Aminu start narrating the misery behind his evil act.
"Everything changes when I married her, I was not the Romeo she knew before, I change into something else, I maltreated her and whenever I feel like making love with her, I forcefully take it whether she likes it or not and she will never utter a word."
"At times, I always wonder why I change into that demon and whenever I feel like repenting, I find myself in square one again."
"Farha will always look at me and say this is not the Aminu I fall in love with and this is not the man I prayed to spend the rest of my life with."
"She never report me to her parents until the day I beat her badly which result in aborting the child I never know we had."
"The child I never had any idea about, that's the day her parent asked me to divorce her, at that time, I really wanted to mend my ways after realising that she was pregnant with my child and knowing how I like children maybe we will have another baby but it was too late for me."
"I remarried after I divorced Farha and that's when I know the value of Farha in my life and that's when that saying makes sense to me "You will never know the value of someone or something until you loose it."
And that's exactly what happened to me.
"I was never going to be a father because the doctor informed us that my wife will never give birth and my eggs too will never reproduce something good that will make me be a father even if I marry again."
"I will never be a father in my life, that's when I wanted to bring Farha back to my life because my mind is telling me that I will have a child with her."
"Her parents said they will never give their daughter back to a monster like me."
"I cried for what I lost, I cried for the lost of our child, I cried because Farha will never be mine again and I cried for all the mistakes I've comitted."
"The day my heart broke into pieces was the day Farha married Fareed, I was shattered, devastated yet my heart plan many evil ways to separate them but I never succeed, Farha is far away from my reach."
Ashraf was just hearing this new information from his uncle, so, that means his uncle married Aisha's mother in the first place.
"Even after their marriage, I still followed her to her place of work and it reach to a point that the court warned me and if I was caught ever again following her, I should blame no one but myself."
"At that time my love for her turned into obsession, my obsession for her turned into anger, my anger turned to hatred and my hatred pushed me to taking revenge on her."
"While I was grieving for her love, I found that she was pregnant and that's the only way I have to take revenge on her for causing me pain," Aminu kept telling them everything while the rest are just listening.
"I started planning everything and my plan was going sucessfully, I wanted to kidnap the baby but when I heard a nurse telling another nurse that one patient lost her child during delivery while the other baby was alive, that's when another idea popped up on my brain and I threathen the nurse to exchange the baby."
"I wanted to inflict pain in Farha that will make her run and beg me to take her back,"
"I wanted to make her feel the pain of losing someone dear to you but again she has a husband that always support and encourage her which make my plan fails again."
"At last the only choice I have is to use Aisha knowing very well where she lives, I wanted to get Aisha, married her and have all that she will inherit from her father."
"I just wanted to see Farha begging on the street because she refuse to come back to me, I wanted to make them helpless and hopeless."
"I was about to be the winner when Kamal finds about my evil plan and I've no other way than to finish him."
"I asked Hoorain to leave the country but hadn't been I know that she had that flash with her I would have killed.... and before he even finish saying the next word Faruk punched him hard. Really hard.
"How will you even think of killing her," Faruk yelled and was about to land another punch when Ashraf hold him asking him to control his anger.
Aminu touched his bruise lip before he continue "when I thought victory will he mine that's when Ashraf came into the picture and destroy all that I've planned for years leaving me with no choice than to make Aisha mine through crook or cranny but as the saying goes "You planned and Allah planned as he is the best of planners." Aminu finished with a sad tone of remorseful.
Mai Martaba look at his brother disgustingly "I regret the day I call you my brother," He said and stormed out of the room.
"Even when you have no child to call your own, Nawal and I filled that emptiness in you but you never see that as a blessing,"
"And if not because of Aunty Samira, I would have said it's even better that you have no child, because no child will be proud to call you his father." Ashraf said.
"I will make sure you spend the rest of your lives here in jail, mark my words." Fareed said and leave the room.
They all left leaving Aminu in deep thought that make him wish he didn't do all what he did to them in the first place and truth be told no one messes with Fareed and go free.
He didn't just mess with Fareed but Ashraf also and he know how hard the boy is.
That's the end for him for sure because he messed with three most powerful men, he knows that there is no escape for him.
Aminu closes his eyes and take a deep breath knowing that tomorrow will be the beginning of his hard days on earth.
