Chapter 7: I love you

KANO, NIGERIA.

Love is something that connects two hearts together.

For one to love, it means they have to agree to all the joy, laughter, happiness, unhappiness, heartbreaks, pain, mystery, sadness, smiles and good moments to spend with your lover.

If you agree to love, that means you have agree to anything that will happen in your relationship whether good or bad.

Love is a strong connection that happens between two people who incidentally meet and have feelings for each other and if that feelings turns out to be a strong bond, it is likely for them to be together for the rest of their lives.

Because when you are in love you never really know where your relations come from, the qualities of your partner or if you attributes them to her whether the light which surrounds her like a ludo comes from you, from her or from the meeting of your sparks.

Being in love does not happen suddenly in an instant, it starts with feelings but comes to be by decision.

Real love always takes time.

Aisha always ask herself this question is she ready to love?.

But she always receive a big NO as her answer.

While people are there enjoying the relationship they share with their partners, Aisha is there fighting with her inner self whether to love or not.

She was once in a relationship, she once loved someone and that person will always be in her heart because he is one of the people she cherish in her life.

When she start enjoying, when she start loving the good feelings people are saying about love, that was when love decided to give her the bitter side of it which she is yet to be healed from, and since then Aisha promised herself not to love again.

Aisha always imagined herself married to the love of her life.

A person that will show love, care and affection to her.

A person with whom she will bear children with and they will up bring them with good morals and the teachings of Islam.

And that person, that person is the one who whenever she is in sujud she ask Allah to protect him wherever he is.

Because he is the only person she want to spend the rest of her life with in this world and in the next.

Here she is going to visit Maryam because the last time they talked over the phone, Aisha could sense the worry in her voice.

It's as if she was forced to talk because the Maryam Aisha knew is a talkative and cheerful person.

So for her to talk that way definitely something must be wrong.

Maryam and Aisha are very close friends.

They grew up together, attended the same school and Islamiyya and because of the bond they share, their parents are very close too.

Her mother is a full house wife while her father is a business man who got married to two wives.

Her mother and step mother.

Some women are leaving peacefully in their married homes while some are not.

Aisha was scared because of what women have turned into and they can do anything just because of that word"kishi".

Now after all the things happening, she just want to be the only wife in her husband's house, just her, him and their children that's all.

That will even give them the courage to protect their children without having any fear of them being in danger.
