KANO, NIGERIA.

Aisha took a deep breath. After, she inhaled and exhaled just to make sure she is calm.

She stood staring at the huge mansion of ALHAJI ADDA'U KUTAMA.

But Before she entered the mansion she has to make sure she hid any sign that will make Maryam suspect something from her because if by any chance she finds that something is worrying her, Aisha know for sure she will bombard her with questions she is not ready to answer them.

She is here to solve her problems not for her to solve hers.

They can still deal with Aisha's problem another time but not today, and one thing is that she don't have answers to any of her questions especially the one that has to do with that mad man.

Aisha has to gather her thoughts and  think of what just happened to her some minutes ago.

She knocked at the huge gate but no one showed up.

She was about to knock again when the gate was opened by their gate keeper Mallam Ado, this old man has been working for them for like twenty years.

He is a good and kind hearted man looking for his halal.

If this old man can work and earn money for himself then why can't our youths do the same.

But no they will not do such things, they are waiting for government to employ and give them jobs which they do know it's hard for them to secure a job in this situation we are facing now, they are just wasting their precious time.

Each and every year we have over ten thousand graduates and everyone one of them is waiting for that job by the government.

They rather keep their certificate for years than for them to use their energy and work.

To them that's not job but suffering because that's not the kind of job they want, they only want to get a job where they will enjoy and not for them to suffer.

May Allah see them through, Aisha prayed.

Aisha went in to greet Maryam's mom first and after exchanging pleasantries, she went straight to  Maryam's room.

She entered Maryam's room without knocking because this house is like her second home in her life.

There, she sighted her looking through the window staring at God knows what.

She looks pale, her eyes are bloodshed which means she has been crying for days.

She didn't know Aisha was inside the room because she was so deep in her thoughts, but when she saw her she hugged her tight and broke down completely as if Aisha will just disappear if she release her.

Aisha let Maryam cry on her shoulders as she soak her clothes with her tears which she don't care.

She allowed her to pour out every pain, every sadness and unhappiness she has kept inside of her for days.

It pains Aisha to see her friend in such situation and she was not there for her, Aisha felt a pang of guilt wash over her seeing her in this kind of situation because when
she needed her by her side she was not there for her.

She was not there to make her feel better and tell her that everything will be okay.

She was not there to always be by her side like she promise to.

Ya Allah! which kind of friend is she?, seeing her friend in such kind of situation makes Aisha tear up and they cried in each other's embrace.

After making sure she feels better, Aisha lead her to the washroom to wash her face.
