The winter is mostly dry, snow covers the ground from end October to mid march in some years.
Sitting on one of the benches was Hooraain, clad in her maroon cardigan, a mopla, cap and socks holding a mug of coffee.
She misses everything about this place and the person she always visits the place with.
She doesn't' know how he is doing but she prays that he is doing well.
Just the thought of him graced a smile on her syrup sweet lips.
Happily, she dialed the person's number and it rang for three times before he picked, after they exchange pleasantries, she confesses the undying love she has for him.
Surprisingly, what he told her shattered her completely.
"I'm sorry, I love someone else and I'm willing to marry that person." That's what he told her and before she said anything the line was dead.
Frustratedly, she threw the phone on the floor and it shattered into pieces.
Why will he do this to her?, Just why?.
All her life she waited for him,
She waited for so long,
She waited for this day and after all the long awaited days,
The days she always crave to come,
He broke her heart,
He broke it into tiny pieces.
She knew that he hated the word "love" because he rejected many proposals but she thought she was different and can change his mind easily, but she was mistaken.
He did this to her.
And he has the guts to tell her he loves someone else.
What's her fault in this, is it because she loves him or what?.
Can't he consider her feelings even for once?, why will he do this to her?, just why?.
And the tears she never wants to shed started falling from her eyes.
All this while, someone was standing in a corner and witnessing all that is happening.
He wanted to pass at first when he saw her, but the name she called made him find a spot and hide, and after he heard everything, a smile graced on his face because he will use her and take revenge from the other person.
And after he is done with her, he will dump her, but for now he has to be very kind towards her.
Majestically, he went and offered a handkerchief to her and picked her shattered phone.
