Live for the beauty of your own reality: some poet or author said that. He also said surround yourself with positivity because positivity always thrives.

I looked around the room, there were about 200 people give or take and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves except the partyboy himself.

I couldn't wait until I could slip out of Jane's gaze and get the hell out of here taking Eve with me.

I looked around for my beautiful wife, I had to leave her because she didn't wanna join me meet some old gizzers I didn't care about.

Finally finding her standing alone looking down on her phobe, I appriciated that no fucker made any advances at her.

I stood in front of her hoping she'll finally put her phone away but she didn't.  She kept frowning down at the device.

I went to cup her face and used a thumb to smooth the worry lines that were forming on her forehead.

She quickly grabbed the hand that was rubbing her and moved it away from her face.

"You're smudging my make-up." She stated without looking up from her phone.

I'm not much of a patient man so she was really testing the little patient I had for this day.

She threw my phone out a window of a moving car today yet she's glue to hers granted that she's supposedly worried about her brother but u can bet a million dollars that Miller was fine.

"That phone has all your attention today, huh?" I commented hoping she'd get the hint and put it away before I loose it and stomp it on the ground.

"I'm sorry, I'm just worried about Sage. He's still not here and there are no calls, no texts. It's radio silence from his end."

Her shoulders fell. This issue was draining the life out of Eve. I mentally noted that whenever I'll see that little runt, I'll give him a fucking broken nose then a piece of my mind.

I couldn't even appriciate how stunny she was in her sparkling dress because she was worried about that ungrateful fucker.

I took the phone from her, she immediately tried to take it back but I raise my hand.

"We talked about this, Sage is a big boy. No need to make a fuss about him." I slowly explained to her.

"I know bu-" I wiggled my middle finger in front of her.

"No buts." I told her and she sighed.

"I'll go call him one last time. If he does pick up I'll give you my phone and give up." She suggested opening her palm. I shook my head. "Please."

"Fine." I gave in to her. "One last time."

"I promise then I'll come back to dance with you." She teased already walking away.

"I'm not dancing." I told her shaking my head.

Just as soon as she left Cassandra was in front of me, my so called mother. Chills literally ran down my whole body and it froze.
