I sat up slowly on my bed. Shaking my head I glanced around. My head hurt but everything looked normal. I went over to my window and realized that there were bars on it.

I glanced around the rest of the room though. It looked normal. Red curtains, a red bed. A closet on the far right, away from my door that leads into the hallway. I ran my fingers through my curly brown hair and frowned.

"That's definitely not normal," I muttered. I moved away from the barred window  and walked over to my closet.

I grabbed a red shirt as I wasn't leaving the castle today and pulled a red, puffy jacket around my shoulders. I pulled on comfortable jeans hoping to stay out of the snow in Winterville. I pulled on some red sneakers and stretched my arms.

I went to walk out of my room when a red gleam caught my eye. I turned and saw my golden crown sitting there. The red rubies on it, marking me as prince, had caught the light.

I paused for a second trying to decide if I wanted to wear my crown or not. I decided I should incase needed. I grabbed the crown and placed it on my head.

It slipped down so it was tilted as it had always been too big on me. I sighed and walked out of my room.

Instead of entering a hallway with carpet and guards though, I was met with a white hallway. There were lots of rooms, each marked with a name.

Every muscle in my body tensed as I looked around the white hallway. It looked silent and all of a sudden I felt very alone.

I walked slowly down the hallway and came face to face with a hologram.

'Ah, Steven Suptic. It's good to see you awake. Welcome to planet Polus. Feel free to explore and wait for others to arrive,"

"Others? What's happening?" I asked, the hologram disappeared though and I was alone once again.

I continued walking until I found a door that led out of the building. I was on a planet I had never seen nor heard of.

It had purple ground and not very many trees. I wondered how I was breathing before realizing that there must be another way to make oxygen.

A thought struck me and I felt bad for not thinking about it before.

'Mom and dad must be worried or mad,' I thought and walked. I came to a fence and went to climb it only to get shocked.

"Fine then, I'll leave you alone," I grumbled and turned back towards the hallway area.

I cut a sharp right at the door though and wondered that way. I came across what looked to be another building.

I entered it with curiosity and saw it looked to be a cafeteria. There were eight tables each with eight chairs. I decided to walk deeper in it and felt on edge.

There was a robot in the back that seemed to make food.

"Scanning. Steven Suptic. Kingdom Winterville," it said. I jumped a little in surprise. Nope. Not happening. I backed up and left. That did not make me feel safe. I pulled my jacket around me despite it not being cold.

I ran out of the building as the robot definitely freaked me out. I ran back past the hallway so I was going to it's left. I slowed down and caught my breath before glancing around.

There was exercise equipment, along with a track and it looked like a few balls. I could see a fence and despite what happened earlier I reached out to touch it. It shocked me too.

I jerked back and pouted. I really did not want to be here. I missed the snow that was always outside my room and window. The cold, crisp air from my balcony and just outside the palace in general.

I wondered what my parents would do. I assumed they would go to Snowfield kingdom for help. Snowfield is our neighboring kingdom and one of our two greatest allies.

My best friend is actually from there. I sighed and decided to just go back to my room, at least I assume that's what I should call it. As I walked back to the end I glanced at some names.

Few of which I recognized. I knew all the kingdoms but some of the names I got lost on. I paid attention to the names closest to me and saw my three closest friends.

Dakotaz from Snowfield was directly across from me. He had been my best friend since we were little as we lived close by. The twins were a different story though, Hafu and 5up lived across an ocean from the kingdom of Postport. Our parents were allies though so we were pretty close.

Hafu and 5up had rooms across from each other, me next to Hafu and Dakotaz next to 5up. I ducked into my room and put my crown back onto its holder. I flopped onto my bed and closed my eyes, praying this was a bad dream
