Sykunno(Crystals)

I ran until I managed to find Corpse and Valkyrae. They turned to look at my panicked expression with worry.

"What is it Sykunno?" Valkyrae asked me and I held up the crystal. They both flinched back and stared at me in shock.

"Where did you get that?" Corpse asked. I shrugged and explained all about Koji having it.

"Hang on. That crystal has been missing for years. And now all of a sudden Koji had it?" Valkyrae asked.

"I guess so. They were chasing me-" I started to say as I heard them come up. I cut myself off and ducked behind my friends.

"Sykunno! What the hell?!" Ellum asked as they both skidded to a stop.

"Where the hell did you get that pendent?" Corpse asked Koji and he shrugged.

"Like I told Sykunno. I don't know. I was told to keep it safe as it was a family heirloom!" Koji snapped back.

"This crystal belongs to the most feared thief in the entire world. Or did before he died," Valkyrae explained. "He stole things for our kingdoms and with every robbery, he left a piece of it," she told them. I saw Ellums eyes go wide.

"But that's not possible. His kingdom has been around longer than most others," Ellum said, trying to defend Koji.

"I didn't say it couldn't have been a king or a prince or something," Valkyrae snapped back. I held out the crystal and brushed my finger over one of the edges.

"Look. You can see the marks from the knife he used to cut pieces off. It's a one of a kind crystal," I told them. Koji timidly took it back from me and examined it.

"He's right. But there's no way this was possible. Right? Where would we keep everything we took?"

"I don't know. That's what worries me," Corpse said and watched Koji carefully.

"Wait. You mean you actually don't know? I thought you were playing dumb. Oh Jesus," I say and covered my mouth.

"Not at all," Koji responded

This definitely wasn't normal
