Hafu(explosions)

I can't say I wasn't worried. Steven was pushing himself with worry for Dakotaz.

Dakotaz and Toast were still down there. Trapped and probably scared a little.

5up was blaming himself. I could tell that with ease. He wasn't sleeping or eating either.

"5up?" I asked softly and he looked over. The only response I got was a head shake. "Hey," I spoke softly and he finally turned.

"What Hafu?" He asked me. I placed my hand on his shoulder and he sighed. "I can't do this. I shouldn't be leader,"

"Everyone makes mistakes 5up. It's ok. I promise," I said and he sighed deeply again. I heard footsteps and Ash walked up.

"I think I've got it done. It should work," she said and 5up took it. He nodded and didn't respond verbally. "All you need to do it pull the pin. Good luck," she said while backing up.

I glanced over Stevens shoulder and nodded to my brother. The boys were clear of the trapdoor.

We could've sent Fundy to tell them but he was still tired from shifting so many times.

5up set it and pulled the pin. He jumped back and the explosion and ducked back as it detonated.

The trapdoor blew open and Steve jumped at the sound. He obviously hadn't been paying attention.

"What was that?" He asked and I placed a hand on his back. He relaxed at the touch and took a breath.

The trapdoor was opened and Koji and Ellum came to go grab the boys.

The four emerged quickly and Dakotaz ran over to Steven. The boys hugged and Steven didn't seem to want to release Dakotaz.

Ash and Toast stood side by side and I saw them hold hands.

5up hugged Dakotaz and moved to go talk to Toast. I made my way over to my other allies.

"You alright Dakotaz?" I asked him. He nodded and I realized that he was leaning into Steven. Steven had his arms around him as well.

"I'm fine. Tired and hungry but fine," he said. I could tell he was still anxious and looked at Steven.

"Go get some food. And sleep. Stay with him for now," I told them both with a glance at Steven.

They both nodded and walked off. I moved over to Toast and Ash.

"I just told Dakotaz to go eat and sleep. I think you should go too," I told them. Toast nodded in response and I placed a hand on 5ups shoulder. "You too 5up," I ordered and lead him to his room.

"Hafu....." he mumbled and I shook my head.

"Come on," I whispered and let him lay down on his bed. I curled up next to him and closed my eyes as well.
