Koji(broken necklace)

I was sitting in the cafeteria with Ellum. It was just us to and I realized he was staring at my pendant.

"Ellum?"

"Ok. I don't think I've asked before but where did you get that?" He asked and I fingered it. I shrugged in response.

"That's the weird thing. I don't know," I responded. We got up and left the cafeteria side by side.

Ellum entwined our hands so that I remained close to him. I glanced at the fence next to us and we turned to head towards the main area where Steven had cameras set up.

I felt the pendent break off of the chain and fall to the ground.

"No!" I called out even though I didn't know anything about the pendent. I watched it shatter and a small crystal lay on the ground.

"What is it?" Ellum asked and moved to get a closer look. It was purple and I picked it up to examine it.

The silver shards from my broken pendant lay on the ground.

"I don't know. I never even knew......" I trailed off in pure shock. I examined the crystal more. It looked normal.

"Keep it in case needed. Are you gonna keep the chain?"

"Meh. Why not? I kinda like it!" I told him. He nodded and we started to walk again. Nobody was over there other than Sykunno.

"Hi guys!" He greeted us as we approached.

"Hey!" I said back and Ellum greeted him as well.

"What's that crystal?" He asked me and I let him see it. He looked at it and looked at me with shock and slight fear.

"H-how did you get this?" He asked and took a step back. I glanced at Ellum with confusion. Why was Sykunno scared?

"It was in my pendent. It broke and-" I started but he ran off. With the crystal.

"Catch him!" Ellum called and we broke into dead on sprints. We were catching Sykunno and getting that crystal back no matter what
