Toast

I was the last prince on earth as far as we know. Ash had disappeared so my mom locked me in my room with guards everywhere.

I was getting bored and restless. I wanted to do something. Go somewhere. I looked around my cyan colored room and sighed.

I was in a basic cyan hoodie with jeans and shoes on. My hair fell into my eyes as always. Not that it really matters. I'm not leaving anytime soon.

Or am I? I needed out right now!

I grabbed my crown in case it became important and steadied myself against a wall as a dizzy spell came over me.

I had never snuck out before. So with this many guards it was gonna be hard. First thing first, to tell them I'm taking a nap.

I opened my door and froze when I saw I was in a white hallway. No guards. No people as of now.

I crept out into the hall and placed my crown firmly on my head. I straightened up my back and walked straight across the hall.

Ash, Proford kingdom. That was all it read. So she must be here then. Right? I hope so.

I turned to leave the hallway and a hologram stopped me.

"Toast from Wingport kingdom. Welcome to planet Polus and go meet some people," it said. I scoffed and rolled my eyes before I started to walk.

I left the hallway and glanced around. I saw a pink man standing there alone but he hadn't seen me yet. I cleared my throat and walked over to him.

"Hello?" He asked and looked over. His eyes widened and I realized he was wearing a crown. "You must be Toast,"

"Yes? Who are you exactly?"

"5up. Heir to the throne of Postport. I assume you're looking for Ash,"

"Yes? Where is she?"

"Come on. I'll show you," he said. I felt myself relax around the man as I trusted him. He had been one of the first to disappear so I assumed he knew what was happening.

As we walked the man filled me in on everything happened here. From Steven arriving to me getting here.

He told me who everyone was and that they had a slight plan for what to do next.

He lead me over to a single area with a trapdoor and a pipe. Ash stood there and was talking to a girl in yellow.

"Ash!" I said and she whirled around.

"Toast?! I'm so glad you're here!" She said and hugged me tightly. I hugged back and scanned over her to make sure she was alright.

"Toast. This is Hafu. Let's gather everyone up and get ready for the next step. Getting down that hole," 5up said and I smiled.

"Everyone take a quadrant. Me and Ash can take near the hallway if you two can take the back half?" I asked.

"Glad you know what you're doing Toast. I assume that means your gonna help us?" Hafu  asked and I nodded to her.

"Of course. Let's move quickly if we want to finish before night," I said and we split up. Ask Stuck to my side and we walked in a comfortable silence
