Silence envelops the outcropping of stone and marble jutting from the massifs side-face. And silent more are the three individuals atop it. Every sound of the Fandelon forest - though so far below them resides the forest from which these sounds come that it resides unseen by a mantle of clouds - they poke through the sky's white blanket and reach their ears the same.
The three individuals mentioned: Ragela, Sariffall, and Rose; stare between each other like wild animals caught in headlights. Rose remains on the ground near the cliff's edge, Sariffall standing not far frome, with Ragela with her home cavern carved into the mountainside eclipsing the tip of her tail.
Rose was no stranger to the myths of dragons and drakes. From an early age she was taught the vast power they could hold; but her prior knowledge on the draconic creatures only lended her chest to sink and rise with more vigor.
Seconds pass into minutes. And minutes pass more after until Ragela takes a regal step forward, "You have nothing to fear, child." she speaks with as comforting a tone as her booming voice may allow; and the ever-curious Sariffall steps aside to better watch their meeting.
With no further ground behind her, Rose is forced to witness the dragon's approach; and, though her mind may slow to a less overpowering clutter, she remains apprehensive. That is until Ragela continues.
"What are you doing here, Rose?" Ragela continues, stopping a distance away from her of which she deems safe for the frightened girl to remain cognizant; and a moment of time to gather her thoughts gone shortly, Rose responds: "D-dad... hunt... I can't go home..." her voice stutters - much like her thoughts - as Ragela looks to Sariffall.
*Sigh* "Look what you've done... Take her back home and keep her safe." Ragela begins, a hint of annoyance in her tone as she glares at him, "If you lead any bandits back here I'll crush you."
