The volcano has been erupting daily, I am losing track of when and how often. We are getting lesser ash though, which makes it easier to breathe, thankfully. My father has been expressing, how much of a blessing it is that we are getting a trickle of water in the pipe. Honestly, it is. We are able to fill containers and empty bottles with this trickle and whatever we catch up is put to good use.
Relatives from overseas are trying to help us. My cousin, Toosie from Canada is arranging to pack some foodstuff for us and my uncle sent us some change via Western Union. The current went for a half-hour, so I used the time to chill a bit. Afterwards, my mother fried some Balahou and we ate it with was leftover vegetable rice. It was delicious. Dinner was even more yum. Cheese toastees!
