It had all started in a flower garden. Todoroki was passing by after training when he saw his classmate Y/n. She was cleaning out the weeds from all the plants. She looked at peace.
He had accidentally stepped on a stick causing her to flinch.
"Oh my god Todoroki you scared me"
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to"
"It's fine" you turned back around to tend to the plants.
"Why are you cleaning the garden ?" Todoroki finally asked after staring at you for a few seconds.
"I don't know plants just relax me so I clean them up whenever I see any plants that need help.."
"Do you want to help ?"
Todoroki looked at you then looked at the time. He knew his father wanted him home but he didn't want to be home. It wouldn't hurt to help you out for a while.
"Sure" - Y/n began making a flower crown with the flowers that had fallen on the ground. She finished it up and turned around to see how Todoroki was doing.
"You're quite good at this Todoroki"
You watched as he tended to the plants extremely gently. In reality he was just scared he would accidentally do something wrong. He had never really taken care of plants .
"Oh um thank you" He slowly got up and dusted himself off. Y/n did the same thing and threw away all the dead plants.
"Here, try this on" Todoroki turned to look at what you were talking about . You then gave him the flower crown.
"You don't have to keep it I just wanted to see you with it on"
He carefully put it on afraid that he would break the crown. "You look good !" Y/n laughed at his confused face.
"Anyways I think that's all that needed to be done. Thank you so much"
"I'm sorry if this kept you from going home"
"Don't worry about it, I didn't want to see my father either way" Todoroki said as he deleted all the missed calls from his father.
"Well it's getting dark so I should probably head home now" You sighed as you looked at the time.
"I'll walk you"
"Oh you don't have to you already stayed here long enough to help me with the plants"
"It's fine I want to"
"If you insist"
Todoroki and Y/n walked out of the garden. You were making most of the conversation. He was always quiet. You were surprised he even stayed to help you. You just assumed it was because he hated his dad so he wanted to disobey him as much as possible.
You didn't mind though. He walked you all the way to the front of your house .
"Well this is it thank you!"
"No problem"
Todoroki watched as you walked away and walked into the house. He sighed and looked down. As he did the flower crown fell from his head. He had completely forgotten he left it on.
He made his way home still ignoring all of his fathers calls. - "Where were you ?" Enji said as he watched shoto walk into the house.
"I was with a friend"
"Which one?"
"I shouldn't need to tell you who I'm hanging out with"
"Hey Shoto!" Fuyumi shouted.
"Hi Fuyumi" he said as he walked back to his room.
"Man I was hoping we could've had dinner today" Fuyumi sighed as she went back to the living room
