The feeling of losing someone is something no one should ever feel.

Emptiness , Confusion , Pain.

Why was the world so cruel? Taking away the only person who was ever there for you. Just making you deal with it.

Having to accept the fact that there was nothing you could do about it. Just laying in bed crying feeling sorry for yourself.

Unable to even process everything correctly , unable to do things for yourself or care for yourself.

It was a horrible feeling. It didn't even become easier when there was someone else there to help. Like Todoroki.

Todoroki covered Y/n with a blanket after she finally fell asleep . His sister texted him letting him know she was outside.

He walked out and walked up to her. "Here... take care of her ! I'll talk to dad"

Todoroki nodded, taking the bag of clothes out of Fuyumi's hand. He walked back in and went back up to her room.

He felt sorry. He couldn't help Y/n. He couldn't bring her grandmother back.

He could only be there for her.

But was that enough?

Was just watching over her and taking care of her enough?

He couldn't help but feel like he could do something else.

Anything ...

He wanted to help her feel less alone.

He slowly laid down on the floor not wanting to disturb Y/n and began to close his eyes . Slowly falling to sleep thinking about what else he could do.

The sun shone against Todoroki's face causing him to squint. He groaned and looked over at the time.

They had school and as bad as he felt he knew if he didn't wake Y/n up she would be mad.

He stood up and gently shook her awake. Slowly she opened her eyes smiling softly at Todoroki before the  memories of the night before came rushing back causing her smile to fade.

The instant feeling of dread came back like a big wave. She instantly felt unmotivated and tired.

She needed to go to school. She had to pull herself together and go. Her grandma would be mad if she didn't .

"Good morning I know you probably aren't feeling well but we have school..."

"Good morning Shoto" She forced out a smile before sitting up. She looked over at her mirror taking in her appearance.

Bags under her eyes from how much she was crying. The messy tangled hair. She shook it off and put her uniform on.

Not feeling like getting ready or making herself presentable. She notified Todoroki and they made their way to school.

Y/n sat at her desk quietly. All of her classes went by quickly . She stared at her desk for most of the time hoping school would end faster.

Todoroki glanced at her several times to check in on her. Her expression wasn't readable. He was unable to tell whether or not she was even aware of her surroundings.

She looked tired. Suddenly he heard the bell ring. He stood up and packed his things quickly before making his way to Y/n. He stopped when he saw Aizawa walk up to her.

He decided to wait outside the classroom until he was done speaking to her.

Y/n listened to Aizawa speak to her about an assignment she missed. Nodding here and there so he would know she was listening.

"Are you feeling okay?" He suddenly asked.

She nodded and smiled. "Yea I have to get going now though thank you!"

"If you need anything I hope you know you have teachers you can talk to here"

She nodded and waved him off.

He reluctantly waved her off as well before getting back in his sleeping bag.

Y/n walked next to Todoroki in silence as they walked home. She fiddled with her backpack straps anxiously.

She needed to take all her things to the dorms. Who would be at her grandmothers now?

It would be completely stranded. Would she even be able to go back during holidays ? Who would she even be with?

Her mother would probably sell the house . Or rent it out to new people. She had nowhere to go..

She shook off her thoughts when she felt someone tap her shoulder. She looked over at Todoroki and listened .

"I'm going to go pick up food for us.. I'll be back in a little bit and then I can help you send your things to the dorms"

She nodded realizing they were already in front of her house. She watched him walk off before walking into her house.

She put her bag down on the floor . She looked up and instantly tensed up.

She felt herself grow cold with fear. "What are you doing here..."

"I can't just come and see my daughter?"

"I can't just come and see my daughter?"
