"You aren't supposed to be here" Y/n uncomfortable moved farther away from her dad.

"C'mon Y/n I haven't seen you in years, aren't you happy to see dad?"

"No please leave, you can't be here—" Y/n suddenly felt a hand push her down to the floor.

She gasped loudly before looking up to see her mother. She widened her eyes in surprise seeing her mom and dad in the same room.

"What are you doing here—"

"It's my house, why can't I be here?" Y/n's mom responded.

"See we heard from the hospital about your grandma.."

"It's all your fault Y/n"

"It's not I didn't do anything—"

"SHUT UP," Y/n's mom landed a harsh slap against Y/n's face. "You never take responsibility for your actions Y/n"

"Maybe if you weren't being a whore and out with that damn boy you would've been here"

"What— What boy"

"Oh don't act stupid Y/n you know exactly what boy I'm talking about," she scoffed. "The one that just dropped you off? hmm maybe we should wait till he comes back and tell him how you kill your grandmother"

"No I didn't kill her—"

"Y/n we all know it was all your fault," Suddenly Y/n's father spoke up. "All your fault"

"Accept your responsibility"

"No I didn't..."

"Accept the fact that you killed that old hag"

"DON'T CALL HER THAT"

Y/n felt another impact against her face but instead of a slap her mother had hit her with her fist closed. Y/n felt her face sting with pain. Tears springing up in her eyes, unable to defend herself. Being frozen.

She heard her father chuckle in the background laughing at her pain. Laughing at the girl on the floor.

"It's your fault Y/n," Her mother said. "It's all your fault"

"Maybe if you accept the fact that you were the cause your grandmother might just not hate you..."

"She hates me?" Y/n finally had the courage to pick her head up and look at her mother.

"How could she not? I mean you weren't here to help her... you killed her remember? accept it"

She hates me..
She hates me..

It's all my fault...

I wasn't here I- I couldn't saved her

I should've been here sooner

I shouldn't have left the house

Why? Why?

Y/n was too caught up in her thoughts to realize her father and mother walking out of the house. Her father laughed at the confused sad girl on the floor.

He knocked over a vase with daisies and tulips hearing the vase hit the floor. The glass shattered everywhere.

The water spilling and slowly spreading across the floor while the floors laid limp on the ground. Y/n stared at the floor in confusion.

She felt disgusted to even be in her body. It was her fault she couldn't save her grandmother. She would still be here if it wasn't for her.

Y/n slowly felt tears fall down her cheeks. She curled up into a ball rocking herself back and forth. Scared and confused.

Todoroki walked up Y/n's steps before slowly opening the door. The door hitting something getting stuck.

He looked down at pieces of glass . He worriedly opened the door before his eyes made contact with Y/n's body sitting in a corner.

"Y/n?!"

"What happened!" he quickly ran over to her spotting bruises on her face.

"Who did this to you?"

Y/n shook her head in embarrassment, unable to look Todoroki in the eye.

"Y/n who did this?"

"No one it's my fault"

"Your fault?"

"My fault my grandma died... I deserve this"

He looked at her bewildered "It's not your fault— your grandma told you it wasn't why are you saying that—"

"She hates me Shoto"

"She'll never forgive me..."

"Y/n stop she doesn't hate you... she loves you so much"

Y/n stood quiet not speaking another word. Her thoughts becoming too loud to even form another sentence to retort.

She stared blankly into her hand feeling empty. What was there to do now that she knew it was her fault?

What was there to do now that she knew it was her fault?
