a month later
Y/n made her way outside to meet up with Todoroki. Her body was slowly becoming stronger. She began eating more and leaving her room more.
She still was sad over her grandmother's passing. Sometimes she even felt like she would never get over it. Todoroki made it easier. She had someone to lean on. Someone who was there for her .
Today was the first day she was leaving the school premises to go on an outside date with Todoroki. Today marks exactly one month since they got together .
She walked out the school gates looking around at the familiar environment around her that she hadn't seen in a while.
She saw Todoroki leaning against a tree in front of her. She smiled, feeling happy for once and began to make her way over.
"Y/n"
She tensed up hearing that voice boom behind her. She heard them chuckle lowly before getting close to her ear. "Did you miss me?"
Todoroki looked up noticing Y/n with a woman next to her? He noticed how she uncomfortably tried shifting away .
He began to walk over . Suddenly he widened his eyes when the woman pulled Y/n down to the ground by her hair. He began to run to Y/n ready to fight when Y/n spoke up.
"Sho no stop—"
Y/n's mother Angie turned around to look at the confused boy. "So you're the boy she's been running around with?"
She scoffed and looked back down at Y/n's "Pathetic"
"Y'know you're such a whore Y/n"
"You run around with some random boy and leave your grandmother all alone to die"
Y/n stared at her mother in wide eyes remembering what she had said the last time she saw her.
"It's all your fault"
"All your fault she's dead"
"You fault"

She felt all the happiness she had built up in the past month come falling down hitting her even harder than before.
"SHE'S DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU Y/N!"
"HOW CAN YOU BE HERE GOING OUT HAVING FUN AFTER YOU COULDN'T BE THERE FOR YOUR GRANDMOTHER?!"
"I- I don't know I'm sorry"
"SORRY ISN'T ENOUGH"
"I'M SORRY PLEASE— PLEASE STOP"
"Leave her alone . Y/n get up let's go" Todoroki tried making his way toward Y/n before Angie ran at Y/n with all intent to hurt her before someone suddenly grabbed her and flung her off Y/n.
All of them look up in surprise seeing Aizawa come out with his scarf wrapped around Angie while some of class 1A was in the background most likely from hearing the screaming.
"Who's this?"
"...My mom"
"I ALREADY TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME THAT YOU BITCH" She yelled struggling against the scarf trying to get out.
Todoroki ran over to Y/n wrapping his arms around her helping her up from the floor. "Is she the one who always did this to you?"
Y/n reluctantly nodded finally feeling relieved opening up about what was happening. Aizawa looked at them both confused.
"Did what?"
Before Todoroki could speak for her she finally spoke up for herself. "She— She's been abusing me ever since my dad left.."
"He's not even your real fucking dad" Her mother laughed causing everyone's eyes to widen in shock.
"And I don't regret shit"
"...What do you mean he's not my dad?"
