     Beacon Hills is a lost town buried somewhere in California. When people pass the sign welcoming them into town, they never stay for more than a few hours. The town is known as a peaceful place for travellers who need a short break or for those who want calm in their lives. Until one day, the calm became a warning before the war. 

          A new family arrives in the silent neighbourhood, trying to forget their past and hoping for a fresh start. Their hopes aren't convincing enough, however, as their oldest daughter soon becomes a target to a creature whose heart is rotten by old flames. It chases her through the deepest nightmares haunting her nights and the lost memories which she doesn't remember as her own.

    Named after what has cursed her, Luna Calavera is a girl who has forgotten what it feels like to be alive. Time has stained her memory when a spell caused everything before her tenth birthday to be erased. She has lost herself between her young and teenage years, putting on a mask of lies. She pretends to be the perfect daughter, but deep down, her heart is agonizingly waiting for the unleash of her rage.

          It, however, all changes the moment Luna decides to help a newly bitten werewolf with puppy eyes.

     A simple glance into the boy's charming brown eyes makes Luna notice that she may not know the truth about her family. The shame her father feels whenever he sees her eyes turning neon green may be justified as the girl realizes her ex-lover wasn't the first person to die at her blood-tainted hands. Her world crumbles as the perfect life Luna has tried so hard to maintain disappears in a blink. The family she thought she belonged in is separated by its secrets, ruining a bond they had worked on for years to strengthen. 

          Being a supernatural creature in a family of Shadowhunters is a curse. Being the oldest daughter in a family of hunters is unfortunate. But both might become the reason why Luna Calavera collects the blood on her hands like lacrosse trophies, and they might be why she refuses to remember a past of nothing but grief.

     Because even Beacon Hills cannot contain the pain in her eyes.

So, I decided to rewrite this, again. I just lost myself in the plot I was going with at first and the new one which just popped up in my head so it's better for me to just start this all over again. The updates shouldn't be as long seeing as the chapters are already written, but the chapters won't be the same at all.
