I knew I had to go back to the ship eventually. I knew I had to unbubble the citrine, heal Blue Howlite, and get some answers. But the other gems, unaware of the issue with Blue, were urging us on to get married. And who was I to refuse a wedding with Spinel?
I shapeshifted at least a million times that day, trying to find the perfect dress for our wedding. Eventually, I decided on a white silk dress that a princess would wear. And when I went to find Spinel... she was wearing an adorable swirly dress that I could never beat!
"We are gathered here today to unite these two gems in matrimony," said Blueberry, standing between us in front of the other Crystal Gems. Spinel placed a ring on my finger and a beautiful flower in my hair. "Spinel, do you take Howlite to be your lawfully wedded wife?" asked Blueberry. "I do," Spinel smiled cutely. "And Howlite, do you take Spinel to be your lawfully wedded wife?" "I... I do," I smiled back, still not used to the fact that I was able to. "I now pronounce you Tourmaline!" said Blueberry, cartwheeling towards Opal and Sapphire.
And with that, Spinel gave me a huge hug and I felt our bodies and minds combine.

I was back. I was Tourmaline. And I was love once more.
