"Violet, Steve, glad to see you finally decided to join us" Nick Fury says, walking out of the shadows. I've never seen him before now, but Tony talks about him so much it's like i knew him my whole life. He's tall and wears an eyepatch over one eye like a pirate, but he looks too clean to be a pirate.
"It was all just a matter of time." I say.
"Fury, what do you need us for?" Steve asks.
"A favor." he replies. "I'm sure you both have heard of a little organization called hydra?"
I look at Steve and notice him fidgeting with his thumbs.
"What about it" I say after a moment of silence. Fury looks up at me.
"They've stolen some highly classified S.H.I.E.L.D information and are not planning on using it for the greater good." he pauses for a second before continuing.
"The files that they stole included some information about the disappearance of your sister, Violet." I look up at him, angry.
"They what?"
"Violet, calm down"
"No! You kept information about my sister disappearing from me and then expect me to calm down?"
"Viole-" Steve pulls me into his arms but I push him back.
"Fury, what did those files say." I demand as he stares me down.
"What did they say!"
"Your sister is still alive." he paused for a moment.
"Natasha?" I say, holding back tears. My sister, Natasha, went missing 7 years ago. Every day since I've been hoping and praying that she would come back. I was beginning to think she was dead, but I knew she wouldn't leave me like that. Knowing her, she would die undercover or saving the president or something, not like this.
"Violet?" Steve's voice snaps me back to reality.
"Where is she."
"That we don't know. We were so close to figuring it out but then hydra stole the files." Fury says, walking over to the table.
"I had the pleasure of meeting one of their soldiers a few days ago, but i will warn you, he was not very friendly. Your mission is to recover the stolen data." he slides a flash drive across the table.
"Use this." he says.
"Thank you,fury." Steve says. Fury turns to leave. As he walks out he yells behind him.
"Take Tony with you, he's getting lonely."
