Chapter 14: Sad and Sweet

It's been a week since the accident, now Ali is the one who drive to school. She would pick me up and Toby in the morning since neither of us can drive or even walk. Me and Toby are using crutches now. And it's so tiring when walking on it.
And this is the week where my dad is leaving me... Again. Even if it's his last assignment, i still don't want him to go. When he's in a battle field it really is a live or die moment, to kill or to be killed, and it makes me to feel hollow everyday when he's not with me. And it kinda scary when someone knock on the door, or any phone calls or even just a mail. Because it could bring such a bad news to my mom and i.
I got up and get ready for school. I can walk upstair again now, so i'm in my bedroom again. I walk downstair and get breakfast and there's a honk outside of my house and it was Ali. She's here already and my mom opens the door.

Mom-"Em is still eating Ali, she'll be out in a sec. Have you eat dear?" She yells from the door.

Ali-"I have! Thanks Pam. I'm gonna go get Toby first then. Bye Pam." She yells from the car.

Mom-"Okay dear." And then my mom walk back to the kitchen. "Hurry up Em."

Emily-"Relax mom, i won't be late. And dad, you'll still be here when i'm home right?"

Dad-"I will Emmy. Now hurry up and wait for Ali outside okay."
I finished eating and walk outside my dad helps and there's Ali with Toby already.

Emily-"Sorry Ali i took so long." I said pointing at my broken leg. Ali smile and tell me to get in.

Toby-"Don't you dare to pull out that card Em. You're not the only one who has a broken leg okay." He shakes his head in disbelieve.

Emily-"What? You're just jealous. And why are you sitting on the front? That's my throne Toby."

Alison Pov

Emily just got inside the car and she already arguing with Toby. I swear to god they fight like a child.

Ali-"Em, you were taking so long to get out so i pick Toby first and come back here. So it's not his fault he got your "Throne" baby."

Emily-"Whatever, lets just go." She roll her eyes and i look back at her and winking.

Ali-"I haven't got my morning kisses." I said being all cute.

Emily-"Go kiss Toby. I don't care."

Toby-"Oh i'll be happy to do that."
I just look at both of them and laugh. They are fighting over a front seat.

Ali-"Come on Em. Don't be so childish. And come here you goof, give me a kiss." She leans in and kisses me. And Toby interrupt us.

Toby-"Get a room you two."

Ali-"Okay Toby can you just shut it for a second." I leans in and kiss her again and then Toby blew the honk.

Toby-"Let's go already!" And Em just took her crutch and hit Toby's head with it softly and not really hard.

Emily-"That's for taking my seat." And she do it again softly. "And that's for interrupting me and Ali." Toby just giggle and he just look back and slap her arm playfully.

Ali-"What are you a 3 year old kids? Grow up already!" I said shaking my head and just drive to school.

At school
Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and Caleb are already waiting for us outside the school to help Toby and Emily. They all are a really amazing friends. Anyone will be lucky to have them as a friends. And i know i am lucky because i have them as my friends.

I hopped out from the car and help Em's out along with Hanna.
Caleb helps Toby out.

Emily-"Look at you two being all cute like that." She said to Toby and Caleb.
