Chapter 10: A Secret and An Answer

I didn't realize what i was saying to Hanna. And i just don't know what to say after she asked me what my family do. It's nothing illegal, i just don't wan't to share about my family to anyone yet. But then someone came and it was Toby. He saves me! So i change the topic.

Emily-"Toby! Hey! I'm so happy to see you!" I smile and hug him then i pull away. I saw Toby giving Hanna a confused "What the fuck" look.

Hanna-"Hey you weren't this happy when you see me!" She said crossing her arms.

Emily-"Don't be jealous Han. I'm happy to see you too, but you asked too much." I smile to her.

Hanna-"Whatever, you're so weird. One minute you were all upset and the next you're just being a happy bubbly Emily. I'll take you to see a doctor to check on your brain later." And we just laugh after that.

Toby-"Hey, do you guys want to ditch english?"

Hanna-"I'm in."

Emily-"Toby, you weren't in english for like what 3weeks in a row? Do you not want to graduate?"

Toby-"I'm kinda not in the mood to study. I wanna go to the hills outside of Rosewood. It has a very beautiful scenery in there." So Toby is into Photography now. And he's kinda obsessed about it.

Emily-"Not now, you gotta get to english!" I drag him and Hanna to the class, when i get there everyone is already in and they all staring at us. i don't know why but i just snap at them.
"Can i help you guys?!"
And i still dragging Hanna and Toby to their seat and then i sit down and saw Ali kinda giggling and she look at me and ask.

Ali-"What was that?" Still giggling.

Emily-"I had to drag them in. They wanted to ditch again."

Ali-"You guys looks so funny you know."

Hanna-"Yeah Em, you're embarrassing us!"

Emily-"I only do that because i love you two too much to see you flunking."

Toby-"Well you don't have to drag us all the way here."

Emily-"Okay, fine. I'm sorry! I didn't mean to embarrassed you." I roll my eyes.

Hanna-"See, now you're back to upset Emily. Something's wrong with your brain. Wait are you on period? Ali is she on her period?" Ali just laugh and shake her head.

Emily-"Just shut it Han. I'm not in the mood okay."

The class started.

Alison Pov
After class Emily just leave the class without saying anything to me. So Spencer asked.

Spencer-"Are you and Emily in a good terms?"

Ali-"We are. I don't know what she's so upset about." Then i see Hanna and Toby walking to their locker.
"I'll be right back guys." I sprinted to Hanna to ask her what's up about Emily. "Hey Hanna, did Emily told you what's bothering her?"

Hanna-"Kinda."

Alison-"And what was it if you don't mind me asking."

Hanna-"She was upset because of her dad wants her to decide what college does she wants to get into. But he can only see her in Columbia. So that kinda upsets her."

Ali-"Wow, i didn't know her family is demanding her to get in that kind of school. I mean her parents seems pretty cool you know. Not uptight at all."

Hanna-"It's not her parents. It's just her father. And i was surprised too at first. But then Emily told me why she has to be in there. So i understands now."
