"RIOLUUUUU!!!!"

As everything faded the last thing Riolu heard before drifting into unconsciousness was his trainer calling out to him, and then everything was black

"Riolu, Wake up" as Riolu opened his eyes, he appeared to be in an endless black void, in front of him was a very pretty black haired woman "What're you doing sleeping at a time like this"

"R-Rio?" Riolu made a confused noise

The human chuckled and stood up, behind her Riolu saw a Lucario it appeared to be glowing purple "He's in danger, your trainer, You have to save him"

Riolu suddenly felt a surge of energy

"Be strong" The woman smiled "Show them what you can do" 

She then faded away

"Say your goodbyes kid" Stain held his blade to Midoriya's neck and as he was about to end the teens life

"Scizor"

"What is it Sciz-" he turned to face his partner and saw the Riolu he previously thought to be KO'ed standing tall "I thought I told you to deal with that one"

"Riolu" Midoriya whimpered

A gust of wind suddenly blew into the alley, Aura began to swirl around the young pup bursting forth like an erupting volcano into a massive pillar of fiery blue energy, within the pillar the glow from Riolu's red eyes could be seen, as he suddenly began to grow taller, metal spikes grew out of its forearms and one in the middle of its chest, the aura grew more and more, cracking the concrete beneath him and damaging the nearby buildings, thunder could be heard above as this power shook the earth and sky

"RIOOO, LUUUU, LUUUCARIOOOOOOOO" He howled

As the aura calmed down standing where Riolu had just been, was a Lucario

"H-He evolved" Midoriya said in amazement

For an instant Stain loosened his grip on Midoriya, and in that split second, with a rush of wind, Midoriya, Iida and the other trainer were all at the entrance of the alleyway, Lucario had moved them all so fast Stain wasn't able to see

"Shit" Stain cursed and brought out another Pokeball, letting out a Weavile "looks like I'll need to use both of you"

Midoriya stood up behind Lucario "Rio... No, Lucario, you ready?" he asked

Lucario nodded

"Alright then" Midoriya took a deep breath as did Lucario "We'll go beyond our limits and show you what true strength really is, Battle Bond, Activate" as their heartbeats synced up Lucario's Aura exploded as streaks of green energy danced around him, Midoriya's 'V' necklace began to glow and heat up, though he didn't even notice

"Midoriya!!!" Todoroki appeared at the other end of the alley "You really need to be more specific in situations like this, now I'm late" both his Ninetales were at his side

"It's just one problem after another today" Stain snarled

"Todoroki!!! What're you doing here" Midoriya yelled

"It took me a few seconds to figure out what that message meant" Todoroki pointed his finger towards Stain and both his Pokemon fired off attacks coating the entire alley in fire and ice, Scizor just barely getting Stain and Weavile out of the way in time "Don't worry in a minute or two, even some Veterans will arrive"
