Your Eyes Hit Me Like a Tsunami (Merhayes)

Idea

Cormac's POV:
Jo walks into the room. I immediately stand up. "We need you in the OR now. Carina asked for you." Jo says I nod walking with her back to the OR. "What happened?" I ask looking at her "shit. Come on." Jo says starting to run.

"Hey baby... your mommy is being so strong." I say standing next to Meredith who is open on the table. Tears fill my eyes as everyone in the room yells. "Shut up! Shut the hell up everyone!" I scream over the yelling. Everyone looks at me. "You are getting nowhere yelling like that." I say through tears. "Take a breath and work together. Save her and my baby please." I say grabbing Meredith's hand. Her monitor and the baby starts beeping like crazy. "Talk to her Hayes." Carina says. "H-her? A girl?" I ask looking at her she nods with a smile. I wipe my face wiping a tear off my face. "Hey baby girl, I need you to hold on for me. Mommy and I can't wait to meet you." The monitor steadies. "I-I-I don't think we can do anything else." Bailey says looking at jo.

Yes there is Bailey. Give me a hysterectomy.... you have to save me over the baby. Just do it.

"Yes you can... if you preforms a hysterectomy. She'll stop bleeding you will save her." Carina says from behind me. I look over to her "b-but the baby." I protest she nods "this happens a lot Hayes we might be able to save her..." Bailey says. "We'll loose the baby." I protest. "Let's pack her and get her to the ICU the bleeding stopped and we can come up with a plan" jo offers. I nod pulling Meredith's hand on my face after removing my mask. I kiss her hand and walk out pacing in the hall.

Jo's POV:
I have an idea but I'm positive everyone will say no.

"Hayes!" I say walking out of the OR he turn to see me obviously upset. "I have an idea." I say looking at him. He nods.

We both walk into Baileys office sitting in front of her desk. "Bailey." Cormac says. She looks up. "I- we have an idea." She nods not saying anything.

"We transplant every lib and organ.... what if we transplant the baby?" Cormac explains Bailey shakes her head looking at him like he's lost his goddamn mind. "We can give Meredith the hysterectomy and transplant the baby with the placenta to someone else... or just keep-keep it in the bag like DeLuca's dad did..." Cormac continues. Bailey stands up Cormac looks at me. "No. Hell no. You- I- no Hayes! I am not no!" Bailey yells. Cormac stands up looking directly at Bailey.

Cormac's POV:
Jo stands up next to me. "I'm not sitting here watching you kill Meredith and my baby. It's not fucking happening." I explain "Doctor Hayes!" Bailey replies as the door opens. Richard walks in and jo leaves not wanting to get in any kind of trouble "what I'm gods name is going on?" Richard asks. "Hayes it's the only thing we can do. She needs a hysterectomy, the baby will not survive. End of the conversation." Bailey says. I shake my head fighting back tears. "No. I don't give a fuck what you want to do, you need my consent..." I start. "No! No I do not I need her consent. Now Doctor Hayes if you want to keep your job, leave my office." Bailey replies. I can't hold it back anymore. I just can't do it. "Fire me... you can't kill my baby girl. You can't kill the love of my life. Please Bailey try... try to save them." I say as a tear rolls down my face. Richard places his hand on my shoulder "please." I beg. Bailey nods.

This is a whack ass chapter but I wrote it instead of the one I had. In the one I had done Mer died and the baby lives but you guys begged me last chapter to save them so.... I'm sorry it's short I've been busy but enjoy I con not proofread.
