Talking with my Uncle and my Niece's question

-Lizzie's POV-

I was in my Uncle's office talking with him about Lockhart. I was not happy about what I have been hearing about his classes. 

Lizzie: Uncle Albus this has to be the most dumbest teacher you had to hire. Isn't there anyone else to do DADA?

Dumbledore: There was no one to take his spot. So under some circumstances we had to hire him. Plus who else would be good for that job. 

Lizzie: I don't know Severus Snape. He is great with that study and you know that. Plus before Qurill died he always wanted that job. 

Dumbledore: And who if I may ask would teach Potions?

Lizzie: Why don't we hire Professor Slughorn?

Dumbledore: I have no clue where he is dear. SO I am sorry to say, but we have to deal with him for now until we can find a new professor. Just don't hurt him dear. 

Lizzie: No promises Uncle. You and Aunt Minerva know how I am when someone pisses me off. 

He just sighs and nods his head. He told me to just not hurt him too much. I told him I will try. I then walked out of his office and down to Severus' classroom. I am glad it is only Saturday. I knocked on his door and a heard a come in. I opened the door and walked in. When I did I shut the door behind me and groaned. 

Lizzie: I really want to punch Lockhart in the face. First lesson with the second years he had freshly caught Cornish Pixies. Then he almost took some of his students to the dark forest. Like really. He has no brain anymore. 

Severus: Talked to your Uncle already?

I just nodded my head and walked over to him. He was at his desk when I came here. I pulled a chair over to him and placed it right next to him. I sat down on the chair and he sighed while wrapping his left arm around my shoulder and pulled me close to him. I let out a sigh and cuddled into him. 

Severus: We got a new Seeker for Slytherin House.

Lizzie: who might that be?

Severus: Draco Malfoy.

Lizzie: Him, but has he ever played Quidditch before?

Severus shrugged his shoulders and I let out another sigh. We stayed in our own little cuddle time until there was a knock on the door. We groaned and we both separated.  Severus told the person to come in and in walk (y/n). 

LIzzie: (y/n) what's up sweetheart?

(y/n): I have a question to ask for Professor Snape. 

I nodded my head and let her continue. She walks over and let out a sigh. 

(y/n): canprofessorsnapeteachmeDADA.

She said that too fast, but I think I got it. I looked over to Severus and he just raised an eyebrow at her.

Lizzie: Can you ask that again, but slower please?

(y/n): can Professor Snape teach me DADA?

Severus: may I ask why you would want me to teach you?

(y/n): Lockhart isn't smart and all he ever talks about is about him. I want to learn real DADA stuff and not stuff about some guy who is after my Aunt's hand in marriage.

Severus looked over to me when she said that and I mouthed him later. Severus looks over to (y/n) and nods his head. 

Severus: fine I will teach you, but note this my lessons will not be easy. 

(y/n): yes sir. 

Severus: Good they will be after dinner so be ready for that.

(y/n): yes sir.

Severus: good.

Lizzie: even if he is going to be teaching you. You must go to Lockhart's class even if he is an idiot. 

She just nodded her head. 

Severus: is that all?

She nods her head again with a smile. I keep forgetting on how much she looks like Lily. I can see in Severus' eyes he has the same thought. Right before she left Severus stops her. 

Severus: As a second thing you are allowed to call me Severus.

I smiled at that. She asked if it will only with us three and he said yes. She then leaves with a goodbye and went to go hang with her friends. I looked over to Severus and gave him a kiss on the cheek. 

Lizzie: You are getting to be the Severus I love. 

Severus: So when were you going to tell me about Lockhart?

I groaned at that. I got up and began to pace a bit.

Lizzie: After a week or two he started to try and follow me like a lost puppy. Keeps asking me for a date. He was shocked I was alive and teaching here. He said Merlin must of set this up so we could be together. Really I am not going to be hooking up with him at all. Not my type. Plus two certain snakes that I know have my heart already and I believe that I still need to wait for them. 

I stopped and looked to see Severus walking to me. He stops in front of me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I wrapped mine around his neck and we pulled each other into a hug. I hid my face in his chest while he laid his head on top of my head. 

Severus: We still have to wait to see if Voldemort will come back. If he does you must be careful do you hear me. Hide as best as you can. Do not help (y/n) and Harry even if you have too. Just be safe do you hear me?

I nodded my head. I know I must go against his wishes when I have too, but we will have to see when that will happen. I fear it will be coming soon, but as of right now I need to just relax and stay calm.
