Wrestling with Love

Chapter Five- Love.

~Talia's point of view~

It's the Thursday before Robbie leaves. Henry let me have the next two days off, and I kept the boy's home today. Robbie and I planned to spend the day out. He wasn't leaving forever, but this would be the longest we've been apart with limited ability to talk.

Robbie: "You guys ready?"

Bentley: "Where are we going?"

Robbie: "It's a surprise."

Ben: "Why does everything have to be a surprise?"

Robbie: "Because it's better that way."

Even though we're at a point where I need space, I won't leave the house without telling Cage and Jax goodbye. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow.

Robbie: "I'll get them in the car."

Talia: "Thank you."

The boys still don't know. Robbie has been fantastic about it. I wait for them to be out the door. I turn around and run face-first into Jax.

Talia: "Ouch."

Jaxon: "You ran into me, Sweetheart."

Talia: "I know. I smashed my nose."

He grabs my face and kisses my nose.

Talia: "I was coming to tell you guys were leaving."

His mouth comes down on mine. In the last week, it's really the only time they get. At least we don't have to hide it now.

Chris: "Jesus, you two get a room."

We break apart and laugh.

Jaxon: "She's been holding out on us, dude. What do you expect?"

Chris: "I thought you and I were going to go get Pizza."

Jaxon: "We are."

Talia: "I ran into him."

Chris: "And he found your lips?"

Talia: "Something like that."

Jax gives me another quick kiss and whispers he loves me in my ear.

Talia: "You two have fun."

Chris: "Cage is in the living room. Steve and Casey are in there too. Keep it classy, Pipsqueak."

Talia: "Like he'd get anything more than what you just saw with Jax, I don't play favorites."

Cage: "That's good to know."

I jump.

Cage: "Damn jumpy much?"

Talia: "Sneak up on people much?"

Jaxon: "Let's go, Chris."

Talia: "Bye, Jax."

Jaxon: "See ya later, Sweetheart."

Chris: "Bye, Pipsqueak."

Cage waits for them to shut the door.

Cage: "Are you leaving?"
