~Talia's point of view~
It's been two weeks since we came back from Vegas. The boys weren't happy they have a sister, and they don't like Farrah. I honestly think it's just because she's not me. I haven't been feeling well. I have a super bad cough; I rarely get sick. This is the first time in two years probably.
Casey: "Damnit, Talia."
Talia: "What?"
Casey: "Please go see a doctor. You need some antibiotics or something for that cough."
Talia: "I'm fine."
I'm not fine. That sentence came out as a wheeze.
Henry: "Tay, don't make me call one of your men."
The bell rings over the door. All three of us look to the door.
Henry: "Can we help?"
Constable: "I'm looking for a Talia Hendrix."
Talia: "That's me."
He sits an envelope on my desk.
Constable: "You've been served."
I go into a coughing fit.
Casey: "I'm calling Jaxon."
I continue to cough as the guy leaves, and I open the envelope.
Talia: "Ga ~cough~ rr~*cough~ et ~cough~
Casey: "Jaxon is on his way. Garrett, what?"
I hand her the papers.
Casey: "He's suing you for Palimony?"
(A/N- Palimony is real. pal·i·mo·ny compensation made by one member of an unmarried couple to the other after separation. "she is suing for palimony" One of the guys I grew up with really did got sued for this.)
Talia: "Yes."
Casey: "You don't have money."
Talia: "I do. Jax and Cage made sure I did."
I go through another coughing fit.
Talia: "They have both putting money into my account for years."
Jaxon comes in.
Henry: "My heavens Talia. You are one lucky bitch."
If I laugh, I'll cough.
Talia: "You know I can't laugh, Henry."
Henry: "I can see. I have eyes."
Jaxon: "What's going on?"
Casey: "The first thing is you need to do is take your girlfriend to the doctor; something isn't right; she's about to cough up a lung. Secondly, jackass is suing Talia for Palimony."
Jaxon: "You're serious?"
Casey hands him the papers.
Jaxon: "Fucking stupid idiot."
I start to cough again.
Casey: "Take her to the doctor. Y'all can deal with the other later."
Jaxon: "Let's go, Talia."
He shoves the papers back into the envelope. I go to stand up and get dizzy. I grab the desk to keep from falling.
