It was after the first emergency meeting, and Socks was the imposter. He started roaming the map waiting for his kill cooldown. Seeing no one in there, he walked into electrical and vented into medbay. he closed the door to security and vented again. He popped out and saw Laff on cams. "Hi," he said. Laff screamed and tried to run, only to run into the closed doors. "Bye," Socks said, with the hint of a smile in his voice. The doors hissed open and Socks walked out, leaving a green body behind him.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~After the game*discord call chimes*"Hi, Laff," "Hey, Socks,"A long silence ensued. "So dummy, do you wanna...maybe meet up later this week?" "Don't call me a dummy, you are the dummy here,"His accent is cute...They finally agreed to meet up that Wednesday, so that they could get some editing done. Socks had finished getting ready and was attempting to edit a video. All of a sudden, the doorbell rang. Socks sprang up and raced to the door, barely able to contain his excitement that his best friend was finally visiting! He opened the door and hugged Laff. They went inside and Socks showed Laff around, and they sat on the couch, talking. Socks called Laff a dummy and Laff blushed. Suddenly, Laff excused himself to go to the bathroom. And, as always, Socks had to overthink things. Does he like me? Do I like him? I don't know! He might! Why is my life so hard...Laff came back down and they decided to play some Minecraft. They made a new Survival world and began to try and beat the game. A couple of hours later they were preparing to go to The End. They set their beds down in the stronghold and lay down next to each other. Socks thought: Haha, our beds are next to each other. How ironic... They beat the Ender Dragon and went to say goodbye, but then Laff spoke up. "A-Are you free tonight, Socks?" Laff asked nervously "I think, why?""I was just wondering i-if I could stay at your place tonight...if not then no big deal, just wondering though," "Sure, bro,"I wonder why he wants to stay over...They got set up in Socks's room, with Socks on the bed and Laff on the floor. They then played some more video games, including a Minecraft Manhunt game with Blaza and Nadwe. After enduring countless "dummy!"s and "aww we ship it"s, they decided to sleep. But, of course, they had to play a classic game of Truth or Dare. "Laff, truth or dare?" "Umm...truth?""Ok, uh...Why did you want to stay at my place tonight?" "Fine, I'll tell you, but you can't tell anyone," Laff muttered"Don't worry, I won't.""Here goes. So after college, I decided to get an apartment with some of my friends, but then they started drinking. A lot. So I try to get out of the house so I'm not living in that pigsty." Laff admitted."I'm sorry, Laff," Socks said, reaching over to hug him. I just wanna protect him and get him out of there. Is that a bad thing?"Whatever, let's just go to bed," Laff murmured.They got in bed and turned the lights out.Later that night, Socks heard a soft whimpering coming from the corner.He rolled over to see Laff there, looking fearfully at Socks's cat, which had been outside for most of the day. Socks got up, picked up his cat, and deposited it outside of his room. He then went over to Laff and said"Sorry about Snicker. Do you wanna sleep on the bed? I can take the floor,"Laff just nodded. They switched spots and tried to get back to sleep. Suddenly, Laff asked"Socks, truth or dare?""Truth, I'm too tired to do any dares,""Who do you like?"Should I tell him? What if he doesn't like me like that? He thought about all of the things that night and decided to tell Laff. "You..." Socks whispered."What?" "You..." Socks said a little louder.Laff blushed. "And who do you like, dummy?" Socks asked teasingly."You," Laff said softly That night, Socks and Laff fell asleep cuddling on the bed, and the next day Socks asked Laff if he wanted to move in to get away from his toxic, drunk friends. Laff accepted and moved in the next day while his roommates were out partying. Socks helped Laff get over his fear of cats, and Laff ended up loving Snicker. After that, they officially asked each other out.
