I have no explanation. Sorry I was gone for so long.

Meme POV

Meme frowned as he opened the cabinet. He could've sworn that they still had cereal in the house.

"Tbh?" he yelled. A soft groan came from Tbh's room at his name. Meme opened the door and smiled at the sight of a half-asleep Tbh falling off the bed. He let out a yelp as Tbh started falling past the point of no return, diving to catch him. They ended up in a heap on the floor, giggling at Meme's attempt to save him. Meme helped him up and kissed him.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Tbh chuckled, flustered.

"Alright, on to business then. Did you eat the cereal?" Meme demanded. Tbh nodded sheepishly. Meme playfully glared at him, holding back laughter. After chasing each other for 15 minutes, they finally got ready to go to the store. They arrived at the corner store and headed for the cereal section. When they got home, arms full of boxes, they restocked their cabinet and poured two bowls.

Meme looked at Tbh in disgust.

"I still can't believe you poured your milk first!" he exclaimed.

"It tastes better that way, I swear!"

"You do it just to annoy me, liar."

"Why would I do that?" Tbh said, shaking with laughter.

"I don't know. Anyways, what should we do today? Other than video games, we need some alone time." Tbh smirked and immediately suggested a date day. They started planning to go to a scenic hiking trail, then have a romantic dinner at a local restaurant. After packing for a picnic, they set out for the trail.

Tbh pulled into the small parking lot and unloaded the car. After grabbing all of their stuff, they set out. When they had hiked for a few hours, they paused to take a lunch break. Tbh spread out the blanket while Meme went through their food.

"What are you doing?" Tbh asked.

"Your mom! Ohhhhhh," Meme replied, laughing maniacally. Tbh rolled his eyes and grabbed his hand. They sat down and dug in. After finishing a very romantic lunch of peanut butter and jelly, they continued down the trail.

Meme and Tbh collapsed onto the couch after hiking the entire trail.

"I'm exhausted."

"Same. Doordash?" Meme nodded in agreement. They ordered Chick-Fil-A(ChickAFillA lmao) and went to sleep.

The Next Morning

Meme woke up and went to the kitchen to get his cereal. After breakfast, he checked Tbh's room, but he wasn't there. He went to the balcony, hoping to find him there. He was, but he wasn't alone. Laff was there. Meme waited, wondering why Laff was at their apartment so early. His heart stopped as Tbh leaned over and kissed Laff, blushing deeply at whatever he'd just said. Meme ran to his room and began to sob into his pillow, hoping it was all just a bad dream.

Meme woke up a couple of hours later, a deep sense of dread growing in his gut. He walked out of his room to find Tbh chilling on the couch, watching TV. He sat down on the opposite end, not wanting to be near him.

"Meme? What's wrong?" Tbh asked, worry lacing his voice.

"You wouldn't care, would you," Meme replied bitterly. Tbh scooted over, trying to get closer, but Meme sprang up and quickly walked to the kitchen, heart pounding.

You have to confront him. You have to confront him. You have to confront him.

He turned to the doorway, where Tbh was walking in, confusion clear on his face. Meme tried to hide his nerves, but his leg began bouncing.

"What is it, Meme? I can help."

"No, you can't. Why don't you go offer your help to Laff?" Tbh cringed away.

"Meme, look, I-"

"No. I don't want to hear it. I saw everything. How long has it been happening?" Tbh hung his head.

"Six months." Meme shook his head. After everything he'd given to him, he'd betrayed him. This was the man he'd imagined a future, a life with. The man he'd given all his trust and love to. And he'd broken it. Broken him.

"Was this all just a joke to you? Did you ever care about me, or was I just a replacement for Laff? Did I ever matter to you, or was this only a game?" Tbh began to defend himself, but Meme held up a hand, anger taking over. "I don't want to hear it, you liar. Save it for your other boyfriend. I never want to see you again. Go live with Laff, and get out of my life."

Tbh turned around and went to his room. After a few minutes, Meme heard muffled sobs coming from behind the door. Good. Let him suffer. Tbh was packed up after an hour, and he heard Laff's voice on the phone as Tbh asked him to pick him up. Meme just laid down, wondering what he was supposed to do now. He walked over to his laptop and hopped onto a call with Socks, knowing he'd make him feel better.

1 Year Time Skip

Meme headed out, getting ready for lunch with Socks and Blaza. As he crossed the road, he saw Tbh at the cafe next to them. He veered away, not ready to talk to him again. But as he entered the restaurant to see Socks and Blaza enthusiastically waving him over, he knew that he might never be, but he didn't need to. He'd moved on.
