"Hyunjin, why don't you come back to the dorm with us? You basically have the choreography down." Felix spoke with his water bottle in his hands, watching the older shake his head and face the mirror once again.
The group was preparing for the Road To Kingdom and Hyunjin wanted to make sure he perfected the choreography and his solo before the next day. "I won't be here for too long." Hyunjin said back knowing that it was a complete lie.
The members knew they couldn't do anything to change his mind and simply told him they'll see him back at the dorm. As soon as they left, Hyunjin jogged over to his phone to play the song for the introduction stage. With his thoughts and worries building up, Hyunjin stayed in the studio for longer than he needed to.
The song played on repeat and Hyunjin's muscles begged for a break every time he would do the finishing pose to start all over. Just as he was about to start dancing for the nth time, Hyunjin noticed the door slowly opening.
"Overworking until you drop to the floor isn't healthy, you know." A voice that always found a way to put Hyunjin's face, greeted Hyunjin at the doorframe holding a bag from his favorite restaurant.
Pausing the music, Hyunjin walked over to the very disguised person as he tried to hold back his smile. "What are you doing here?" Hyunjin asked while ruffling the person's hair and closing the door behind him.
"I just missed you." M/n shrugged and plopped himself on the couch as Hyunjin quickly ran to the closet to take out a small table.
Hyunjin stared at M/n with nothing but love in his eyes. It's been nearly a year since they started dating and Hyunjin's heart eyes never seemed to die down when they're together. The two originally met when they were preparing for the '00 Line with Sanha, Bomin, and Daehwi. Hyunjin thought M/n was the prettiest idol he's ever laid eyes upon and asked Daehwi for help on asking out M/n.
Since M/n was part of CIX, Hyunjin had a little bit of trouble going through Jinyoung and Seunghun who protected M/n. After a couple of dates and talking it out, Hyunjin officially asked M/n to be his boyfriend.
The two idols ate peacefully with small conversations here and there. Because of how busy M/n became, the couple wasn't able to see each other until now. Hearing a sigh leave Hyunjin's lips made the [s/c] idol look at him with concern.
"I'll practice one last time." Hyunjin announced as he shot up from the couch and went back to his phone.
