It was summer break for Seungmin and his group of friends. With nearly two months off, the boys were able to convince their parents to go to an island for a break. At first, the parents refused the idea since they didn't want to send their children abroad where they might not even know the language. So in the end, they spent a month learning the language before summer break even started.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Paradise Island. The weather is only hot and humid nothing in between. Please enjoy your time here and make sure to try the food!" The flight attendant spoke as the plane began to land smoothly.
Seungmin looked out of the window where he saw nothing but the clear blue ocean, they were still fairly high so he didn't bother to look for any cool buildings. When they landed, the nine boys thanked the workers and excitedly walked to the baggage claim.
"I still can't believe we're here with no parents," Jeongin said while taking his phone to contact his parents, "what should I get them? Snacks? Clothing? Shoes?"
"Get them I Heart Paradise Island t-shirts." Minho laughed as he pointed at a souvenir that had the shirt in the island's flag colors.
They waited for a couple of minutes for the baggage claim to begin. Chan was telling the boys interesting facts that he learned from watching documentaries that the plane provided. Despite Eric being the only listener, Seungmin was still studying the language since his friends only looked up simple phrases to remember.
After grabbing their luggage, the nine boys caught a shuttle and were on their way to the Air BnB. Since their fathers were the only ones supporting their trip, in the beginning, all the dads teamed up to buy their sons an Air BnB that was near the beach and surrounded by stores.
The house was fairly large as it had a gate and even lights to lead its way to the garage. Seungmin took his phone out to text his father who was explaining that they arrived at the house and to thank him.
"Alright~ let's go grab something to eat after we unpack!" Jisung excitedly said as he grabbed the key underneath the doormat.
The interior of the house was very modern and even had pictures of other people who stayed at the house. On the kitchen table, there was a polaroid that had a note. Seungmin read the note and simply smiled, knowing he was going to have a good summer.
"Guys, we have to take pictures with this polaroid. The person of the house gave it to us with an endless amount of film." Seungmin said as he walked over to his friends.
