"Han Jisung, if you keep hugging me your scent is going to get on my clothes." M/n laughed into the hug. The comforting scent of Jisung's mate was everything Jisung could wish for, but for the sake of his social status, the pureblood alpha loosened his grip on his boyfriend.
The happy college couple had spent their weekend in their shared apartment they usually go to whenever they have the same days off or when they're in heat. With it being the weekend, the two decided to try something different and spend their weekend together. Unlike Jisung's friends, M/n's friends knew about them and were okay with it as long as nothing bad happens.
"I hate this social status crap." Jisung sighed as he gave his boyfriend one last hug.
"It's only like this until we graduate." Cupping Jisung's cheeks, M/n gave him a quick kiss before heading over to the living room to grab his backpack. Groaning, Jisung followed his omega and grabbed his own bag—even though it was empty he still brought it with him.
"How do they expect us not to find our mates when the colleges are right across from each other?" Grabbing his keys off the key hook, Jisung locked their door and started walking out of the apartment complex. "That's like saying don't sleep even though you're already in bed." Jisung scoffed and looked over at his boyfriend who was laughing at his comparison.
"You're not wrong, but let's just stick it out. We're already in our last year anyway." M/n reasoned out even though Jisung responded with a groan of annoyance.
Getting on the bus, the pair sat beside each other as Jisung glared at any alpha that even dared to spare a glance at M/n. Even though M/n was unmarked, Jisung made up for it with his presence and his lingering scent on M/n's clothes to let any alpha know who his mate was.
"Oh, my friends and I are going to a cafe since we have no classes right now." M/n said as he showed his phone to Jisung that had their plans on where they were meeting up.
Humming, Jisung read the name of the cafe multiple times. "Wait, isn't that cafe near my campus?" Jisung blurted, his eyes widening at the thought of his mate being anywhere near the alpha-only campus.
Seeing how Jisung's dark blue eyes began to turn golden from the number of emotions he was facing, M/n held his hand and gave him a reassuring smile. "I'll be fine, Ji. I'm not going to be alone." M/n said sweetly.
"I'll wait with you until your friends show up." Jisung stated. Getting off the bus, Jisung and M/n walked in the same direction, talking about anything just so that the alpha wouldn't be so on guard.
