Going home after the long school day, M/n was more than ready to be true to himself. His parents, who were in the kitchen, greeted their son with their regular warm smiles and asking how his day at school was. M/n's father was more concerned about the bullying while his mother simply waited for her son's response.

"The bullying was there, but I met a group of seniors who scared them off." M/n spoke and happily sat at the table and watched his parents cook.

"I'm glad someone helped, if it gets too bad, let me know and I'll report it to the principal." M/n's father instructed. His soft black eyebrows slanted as it expressed the amount of concern he had for M/n.

Chuckling, "If the principal saw you, he would only connect the dots on why M/n is being bullied. Our family is known for our visual features anyway." M/n's mother responded with a light sigh following her words.

It was true that the family had visual features that some would be envious of, but it came with its consequences, especially since M/n was a boy. Growing up with nothing but being called a pretty face and mistaken as a girl, M/n began to feel immune to the comments and insults that barely did any damage to him. But throughout his childhood, his favorite memory was stealing his friends' clothes and trying on their light flowy dresses.

At one point, M/n had asked his mother if he could try on the clothes that she wore when she was younger. Immediately, M/n fell in love with not how he looked, but how confident he felt when wearing the clothes.

"You know, one of the seniors said something that kind of opened my eyes."
M/n started while looking anywhere but his parents' curious faces.

"Did they ask you for your skincare routine? Or what our family secret is?" M/n's father asked and sat down at the table, too curious to help his wife with dinner.

Shaking his head, "He told me to be myself, and that it's the only thing that matters."
M/n said while looking over to where his mother had a soft smile and tears that slowly rolled down her [s/c] cheeks.

Without even saying the rest of his statement, M/n was met with his mother going into her room and setting a box on the dining table. The label 'SAVE FOR M/N' was enough for the family to know what exactly was in the box. M/n's mother saved all of her clothes that she wore when she was younger for M/n, knowing he would come back for them.
