"Come on, hyung! Everyone's summoning their demon or angel, it really depends on what chant you do." Hyunjin explained.

The world that humans lived on was no longer the only species. Angels, demons, and hybrids were living beside them. They're able to live on the surface or stay in their own world and simply visit whenever they wanted. But those who decide to live on the world of their own species are typically summoned by dumb teenagers who have nothing else to do.

And today, the dumb teenagers were Chan and his group of friends. It was the weekend for the group of high schoolers and they found a chant to summon the angels and demons wherever they are.

"I'm doing it, you guys go home before I get calls from your parents. I'm still a senior in high school. I need to graduate, you know." Chan said as he pushed his friends out of his studio apartment.

Living alone was something that Chan never really asked for. His parents were always too busy to stay home for a full day and would always feel guilty for their son living in a house that's meant for a family. When it was his birthday, Chan asked if he could alone and near the school so he wouldn't need to wake up early just to be driven to school.

The parents bought him a small but luxurious studio apartment that was near the school. Chan was going to buy a pet, but with hybrids now existing, he was never too sure if he was buying an actual pet or a hybrid who would suddenly be a human when he returns from school. He never really understood why some pet stores even had hybrids up for sale when they're also humans.

When his friends left, Chan read the paper that had the instructions on how to summon either an angel or a demon. Shrugging his shoulders, he flipped the page to see the instructions for summoning a demon.

"Let's be edgy for the weekend." Chan said to himself as he prepared the materials that he needed. After gathering, he was ready to start what his friends were pushing him to do.

The instructions told him to do it somewhere that he can easily cover whatever he summoned. Grabbing a blanket from his closet, Chan tossed it in the circle as he began to chant. With nothing happening after he read the chant, Chan furrowed his eyebrows and decided to grab something to eat as he waited for the demon to appear.

"This is dumb." Chan huffed while taking a bite of his pizza. He sat in front of the circle and was already waiting five minutes for the demon.

Just before Chan stood up to grab another slice, the flat blanket began to float. Quickly, Chan sat back down and watched the blanket flop back onto the floor, but this time there was something with it. Squinting his eyes, Chan leaned forward, anticipating for the demon to show himself.
