"This is just in; the most wanted gang, CNine, are still wandering around even after defeating another gang. If you see any suspicious people or behavior by anyone, please do not hesitate to call SKZ Police Department." The news director spoke as M/n raised an eyebrow while cooking dinner for his busy boyfriend who seemed to be working another late shift.
Felix was part of SKZ Police Department and with the recent gang activities that have been going around in both Japan and South Korea, there is hardly a day where he isn't working late. For M/n, that was actually a good thing since he was actually part of CNine, the most dangerous member to be more precise. Thankfully, CNine enforced that each member must wear a mask and gloves to make sure that they do not get recognized by people the next day that they rest.
"Babe~were you safe today?" Felix asked his boyfriend as he walked inside his apartment while loosening his work tie.
"Of course I was, I only went to hang out with my friends before buying groceries for tonight's dinner." M/n spoked as he gave Felix a peck on the cheek before focusing fully on making the dinner.
A soft hum was made from Felix's lips before giving M/n a back hug. Resting his chin on M/n's shoulder, the other chuckled softly while telling Felix that he didn't want to burn down the apartment. "Did you have work today?" Felix asked as his boyfriend shook his head.
"I have a midnight shift tonight, will you be fine sleeping without me?" M/n responded while giving Felix the tableware to put on their dining table.
It was nights like these that M/n wished he could have forever. He didn't have to worry about his gang, and can just focus on Felix only. Keeping such a dangerous secret away from his boyfriend that he loved, was something that M/n hated himself for. Whenever his gang decided to do something, it was always at midnight, where M/n knew that if CNine was to mess up, the SKZ Police Department would be on their ass.
"M/n, you have a call." Felix spoke, snapping M/n out of his thoughts as he looked at the caller id and knew that something was up. A quiet sigh escaped M/n's lips as he told Felix that he would be right back before leaving the apartment complex.
Felix waited for his boyfriend to come back from the call as he couldn't help but wonder what M/n's job actually was. Whenever he did ask the other about it, M/n would always answer by saying that it was something that he hates himself for doing. When Felix heard that description, his friends told him that M/n might be a stripper that can't escape that type of work since it pays so much.
Immediately shaking his blond head, Felix decided to turn on the tv and focus on something other than that. "Sorry, Lix, my job wants me to come in early today." M/n said with a hint of annoyance in his voice as he ran a hand through his hair.
Getting off from the couch, Felix walked over to the shorter and gave him a hug. "It's fine, I bought you gloves since I've seen you wear them whenever you have to go to work." Felix said as he went to their shared room and handed M/n a pair of gloves that had their initials on each hand.
Looking up at Felix, M/n couldn't help but feel horrible for having to keep a lie from his boyfriend. Putting on the pair of gloves, M/n kissed Felix before walking out the door to go to his job. A job where he wouldn't be returning until the next day, for the first time.
As soon as M/n left, Felix made sure that the food that his boyfriend prepared didn't go to waste and ate both plates. Afterward, Felix decided that it would be a good idea to review the cases that revolved around CNine since they were the hottest topic these days. It ached his heart to think that someone from that gang could easily kidnap M/n and even injure him. Even though Felix is a cop, he feels as if he's not strong enough to protect M/n.
"M/n, whatever you're doing right now, please be safe."
