Arrogant Asshole; Minho Extended

After the little heart skipping moment with M/n, Minho was now walking to class with his eyebrows furrowed and mumbling curse words as he went along. The students that would try and greet him, were all shot down with a glare that he gave everyone in the halls.

"Dude, what's got you so mad?" Changbin, one of Minho's closest friends, asked as he watched his friend slump into his chair.

"M/n." Minho stated as he tried not to think too much about what happened in the hallway.

For the first time in 2 years, M/n finally made a move on him but it wasn't what he imagined. In Minho's mind, he imagined the two of them happily being a couple while going on many dates after school. M/n placing a finger between their lips was definitely not in his dreams, so why did it happen?

"You're still trying to get with him? That kid practically hates your guts, what did he call you this time?" Changbin spoke as Minho scoffed when the nickname rang in his head.

"He called me an arrogant asshole." Minho answered while waiting for his friend to comfort him and say that he wasn't.

"Well, he's not wrong with that one." Changbin chuckled when his friend shot him a glare.

Minho was pretty famous around the school and there were two reasons for it. People either knew him as Prince Charming who's willing to help or someone arrogant who would pretend as if he didn't hear someone asking for help. How a person knew him all depended on how he felt about that student.

Minho only sighed and continued to think of ways that he could get back at M/n. There was no way he was letting the other get the last laugh.

"Instead of plotting for revenge, why not take him out on a date?" Changbin said as soon as he saw the smirk on Minho's lips.

Tilting his head to the side, Minho looked at his friend in confusion. If he wanted to go on a date with M/n, then he would've asked to do so.

"To prove him wrong about being an arrogant asshole, take him on a date." Changbin reasoned as he watched his friend hum.

Minho flashed Changbin a smile as he suddenly gained his energy back. "You're right! There's no way he could say no to me." Minho stated before taking his textbooks out for class.

Changbin only shook his head, knowing that the plan could go wrong in many ways. The class seemed to drag along as Minho began to prepare himself to meet M/n during the break.

As soon as the bell rang, Minho bid Changbin goodbye and was now on the hunt to find M/n. With the amount of time students were given for their breaks, Minho knew that he was going to be able to have a nice talk with the other as long as he doesn't do anything that could ruin the moment.

When he turned the corner, there stood M/n with a smile on his face as he talked to someone. Minho was familiar with the person that M/n was talking with, was not happy about it.

"What's he doing here?" Minho harshly whispered before walking up to the three boys.

Whatever they were talking about suddenly stopped as M/n saw Minho standing beside Hyunjin. "And why are you here?" Hyunjin sassed, crossing his arms against his chest as he looked at Minho who completely ignored his presence.

"M/n, if you're not busy, can I talk to you in private?" Minho emphasized the last word as he looked at Hyunjin who only scoffed.

"He's busy, can't you see that we're talking?" Hyunjin answered.

M/n, who was watching the scene unfold, had no idea what to do. Just earlier he was telling Hyunjin about what he did with Minho and now here they are arguing.

"It's not like he's your friend, so why are you making the decision?" Minho snapped as Hyunjin raised an eyebrow.

"I'm his friend, do you not know the definition of that word? Oh wait, I forgot you're only their walking bank account."

Before Minho could respond, M/n grabbed Minho's wrist and took him to the rooftop where they could be alone. The hurt look on the other's face was enough for M/n to know that Hyunjin went too far. The two boys stood alone on the rooftop, ignoring the bell signaling for class to begin.

What Hyunjin was said crossed the line and M/n knew that trying to get an apology out of his friend was definitely going to happen. When he glanced back at Minho, he had his head held low.

"That sad look doesn't fit you." M/n commented as he let go of the other's hand to face him.

When he didn't get a response, M/n furrowed his eyebrows and began to wonder if the 'Arrogant Asshole' was really hurt. Instead of saying anything, M/n decided to hug Minho to at least try and cheer him up.

"Even if they do want me for my money, they're still my friends." Minho mumbled as he hugged the other back.

Pursing his lips, M/n didn't say anything and continued to listen to Minho rant. It was obvious that Hyunjin and Minho had it out for each other, but with them both liking the same person, their rivalry only grew stronger.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" M/n asked as he stepped back. Minho was no longer carrying the smug smile on his face as he usually did, the new soft smile was painted across his face as he held M/n's hands.

"I want to show you that I'm not an arrogant asshole like you said I was. And I'll do that by taking you out on a date.." Minho explained as he searched for an answer, waiting in the silence.

For the first time, Minho was saying something that wasn't making M/n roll his eyes in annoyance. It was making him flustered about the thought of going on a date with Minho.

"You better make it fun then." M/n shyly responded, watching Minho's smile grow wider as he couldn't help but hug M/n.

"I'll take you to the best restaurant I know. You can go on a shopping spree if you like, I'll buy you anything, M/n." Minho spoke as M/n only frowned, pulling the boy closer to him.

"I don't want your money, I want you to make me happy. Money can't always buy happiness." M/n said as Minho inched closer to him, glancing down at M/n's lips.

"Then I'll do whatever it takes to make you happy."
