Sorry, I've been gone for so long but here is a much-needed update! Let's dive into where we left off 😁

By the time Draco and I had made it back to the Ravenclaw common room, it was already midnight. As I opened the door I peeked my head inside to make sure no one was still up. Once I knew the coast was clear I slipped Draco inside and rushed him straight to my room.

This is a terrible idea...

I pushed Draco through the door, flinging him forward causing him to trip over Cinder. She let out a small yowl and quickly ran underneath my bed. Even though I wanted to check on her immediately I had to make sure the door was locked before I did anything else. Once I heard the lock click I felt some of the tension in my body dissipate. I walked past Draco toward my bed to check on Cinder while he rubbed his shoulder.

"Geez Prue you didn't have to shove me so hard."

I simply rolled my eyes at his comment.

I sensed Draco's irritation but I didn't give a single fuck. He was the one who chose to follow me here. He was the one who insisted on continuing our conversation so he was just going to have to deal with me giving him attitude.

"Oh stop whining I barely even touched you." I replied while trying to fish my cat out from under the bed.

"Yeah well, aren't you forgetting that I was in a fight earlier? I have bruises all over my body which you just pushed full force into your room!" He sneered.

"Whatever Malfoy."

The moment that those words escaped my lips I knew that I'd royally messed up.

I'd never called Draco by his last name before and to be quite honest I absolutely hated it when everyone else called him that. The other students would always utter it as if it was some sort of cuss word or insult.

Nice going Prue, you really had to say that?!

"Wow, is that what we've come to? Do you really hate me as much as the other fucking losers at this school?"

Even though his words were sharp I could still hear the pain in his voice. I kept my eyes fixed on Cinder who was still hiding under my bed, I didn't dare turn around. Even though I was still looking under my bed I could hear Draco's feet shuffling closer and closer until he was right next to me. The springs squeaked and the mattress sunk as he took a seat on my bed, I knew that I was going to have to look him in the face sooner or later. I mustered up all the courage I had inside, took one final look at Cinder, and exhaled before finally coming up.

"Draco, I don't hate you but how am I supposed to treat you? Like I said before we haven't spoken in weeks and you just expect me to let you push me up against doors, especially after fighting my friend." I sighed as I plopped down next to him on my bed.

Draco's eyes filled with fury, I could feel the heat emanating from his entire body.

"You keep calling Potter your "friend", have you forgotten your role in the Dark Lords' plan? I can't believe you're getting swept away by Potter's charm just like every other foolish girl here!" His voice went up at least five octaves.

I placed my finger over my lips and shushed him.

"Draco you're in my dorm room, a place where you are definitely not supposed to be so if you don't want the prefects coming in here I suggest you control yourself." I sneered.
