It had been a few weeks since Draco shattered my heart into a million pieces. Ever since our last conversation, I hadn't been able to bring myself to see him face to face. I started leaving update notes in the abandoned bathroom about an hour before our regularly scheduled meeting time. I always made sure to wait around in a small hidden spot in the corridor until he arrived to retrieve the note. As soon as I'd see him walk into the bathroom I'd leave without a second glance. He had made it painfully clear that he was serious about keeping it strictly professional because he hadn't even tried to reach out to me once since our last talk, which really hurt.

I'm not sure what was worse him ignoring me or me having to watch Pansy Parkinson feed him dinner every night in the Great Hall, hanging around his arm like a fucking leech.

"Prue, you're not even looking!" Exie whined snapping me back to reality.

I tried my best to bring my attention back to Exie who had invited me and Luna to her dorm to help her pick out an outfit for the first Quidditch match of the year. November had finally arrived which meant it was the start of Quidditch season. The first game was going to be Slytherin vs. Gryffindor and I was completely uninterested in watching the match, to say the least.

"Sorry Exie, I was lost in thought." I replied apologetically.

"Yeah yeah whatever, I just need you guys to tell me is the facepaint too much?"

Exie turned her face toward Luna and myself who were sitting on her bed. We examined Exie's face and burst into laughter. She really went all out by painting half of her face red and the other half gold, a big G plastered in the middle of her forehead.

Wow, she sure does have school spirit... and I thought Luna was bad.

Exie's previously relaxed expression contorted into one of anger and frustration.

"I knew it was too much!" She huffed preparing to wipe her entire face off on the sleeve of her oversized Gryffindor sweater.

"No, I love it! It's just compared to you Prue and I look a little subdued." Luna breathed between fits of giggles.

Luna looked anything but subdued, she had spent the entire night making a roaring lion hat as a show of support, wearing it proudly on her head. I on the other hand was the only one still wearing my own house colors. I had on a light blue skirt with white stockings underneath and a Ravenclaw sweater.

I had no idea that students could wear the house colors of the teams that were playing, if I had known maybe I would have worn the Slytherin sweater that's sitting in the trunk at the end of my bed. Wait no, what am I thinking!

"Where'd you even get all this Gryffindor gear Exie, I mean you're a Hufflepuff." I questioned.

"My eldest brother Ethan was a Gryffindor, after he graduated he passed all his old clothes down to me."

"I didn't know you had a brother." Luna interjected.

"There's a lot you don't know about me, I'm a mystery." Exie teased.

We all continued to laugh and joke around while Exie placed the finishing touches on her outfit. It was finally time to start heading down to the Quidditch pitch because the game was about to start. Luna and Exie were both so excited they could hardly contain themselves but my stomach just kept churning. There was no way to avoid seeing Draco, he was the Slytherin seeker for Merlin's sake.

As we arrived at the pitch Hermione waved to us, she was wearing a cute Gryffindor scarf and had a little Gryffindor flag in her hand.

"Girls hurry up! Ginny is saving us our seats!" She shouted as we approached her.
