Chapter 26

The door to Draco's room swung open loudly, I had no time to comprehend what was happening or who was walking through that door.

"Wow, I did not expect this but maybe I should have." Theo muttered angrily.

My heart stopped beating completely.

Is this actually happening right now?

"Mate, it's not what it looks like, we didn't even sleep in the same bed!" Draco was trying to diffuse the situation.

I glanced over at Theo who was standing in the doorway with his fists clenched. I could hear the Slytherin students starting to stir, some of them even began roaming the halls of the dorm. I tried to hide my face underneath the blanket wishing that it would engulf me so I could completely disappear.

"Don't call me mate! We haven't been friends for a long time. I knew that whole "I'll respect your relationship" conversation we had was utter bullshit! You are a snake Malfoy, through and through." Theo was furious.

I had never seen his pale skin glow red, he was shouting so loud I thought all of the Slytherin students were going to come running to see the drama unfold. I couldn't risk getting caught by anyone else in this room, it would raise too many question and start too many rumors. I hopped out of bed and quickly shut the door so that we could discuss this issue privately. I walked over to Theo and tried to place my hand on his arm. Immediately he shrugged me off, Theo glared at me with unyielding hostility. Theo was a ticking time bomb and I could tell he was ready to explode.

"Don't you dare touch me. You're just as bad as he is." He snarled.

My eyes instinctively started to water. Theo had never spoken to me that way before, he was my friend perhaps a bit more than a friend and even though I'd never intended for him to get hurt he did.

"Don't you fucking talk to her that way. I told you nothing happened! She literally came here because she had a nightmare and was scared. If you'd been here or spoken to her at all during the break then maybe we wouldn't be in this situation! We literally were worried about you because we hadn't heard from you since that night at the manor." Draco was shouting at the top of his lungs.

"Don't put the blame on me, you have no idea what I've had to deal with so shut your fucking mouth!" Theo roared.

"Guys please, we need to quiet down someone might come in." I whispered.

"Oh is that what you're worried about, getting caught? Maybe you should've thought about that before spending the night with this snake." Theo rolled his eyes.

"Theo please I-"

"No Prue, I need the truth, did you sleep with him?" He interrupted.

I looked down at the ground, ashamed of my actions from last night.

"Prue look me in the eyes and tell me nothing happened." Theo continued pushing.

I took a deep breath and looked into Theo's stormy eyes. They were pitch black and full of rage, all of it was directed towards me.

"I can't tell you nothing happened, but we did not have sex I swear." My voice was cracking.

"Couldn't you have gone to Luna or Exie, your actual friends?! Why do you always go back to him? " Theo cried.

"I don't know! I don't know why I go back to him, I just love him Theo!"

Theo threw his arms up in frustration and started laughing maniacally. He was pacing around the room and muttering to himself. Draco came over to me and pushed me behind him protectively. I'd never seen Theo this upset, honestly I didn't even recognize him.
