Ms Vause turned around and headed to her office. I looked at Sarah, she seemed unfazed. I stormed to Ms Vause's office, the door was open. That's a first.
She was sitting at her desk looking at her computer. I knocked lightly, then she looked up. The face she was making, broke my heart, I feel like I just cheated on her, even though we're not dating, it has only been a week but I really liked it here, but I fucked up. "I'm sorry, th-" she cut me off "It's okay. There is no need to apologize. There is no rule prohibiting you from dating someone in the office, just don't do it on my time please." She looked upset. Her words didn't match the expectation on her face. She looked away from me and back to her computer. I had nothing to say, so I just left, closing the door behind me.
