"Happy birthday! And Valentine's day!"
I opened my eyes to see pink, red heart balloons everywhere. An excited Melodie was hovering over me with a pink box in her hand., "It's too early for this" I groaned.
"No, come on! We have something planned, get up!" why is Melodie so loud all the time?' I sprung out of bed and head to the kitchen with Melodie on my tail.
Immediately, I was met with the overwhelming scent of bacon. There was also a shirtless Lorenzo by the stove. I wrapped my arms around him and he turned around to plant a kiss on my forehead.
"Happy birthday and happy Valentine's day Ms Vause," he said into my ear, so I gave him a peck on the lips and a thank you. " Happy Valentine's day Mr Valentine" and I gave him another peck
"Val, when I told you happy birthday you got mad. Why didn't I get a kiss?" Mel looked at me with her puppy eyes and a pout I rolled my eyes and kissed her on her forehead. She smiled and moved to the kitchen counter.
"Hey guys, sorry I'm late" Miranda came in holding a big pink box with a matching bow around it. She came to where I was standing and pulled me into a hug, "Happy birthday and Valentine's day Val."
"Thank you and Happy Valentine's day" she smiled then went to Melodie.
"Okay, breakfast is done, sit down." I sat on one of the kitchen stools, then Lorenzo placed my plate in front of me, then Miranda and Melodie.
"Thanks," we all said in unison, he nodded and sat next to me with his plate.

We were done eating and apparently, it's time for gifts.
First, Lorenzo can with a pink box and presented it to me.
I rest it on my lap and opened it, it was a pair of the most adorable light blue shoes I have ever seen.
"Oh my God, I love them" I put the shoes aside and hugged him.
"Alright, alright, my turn" Melodie came a placed her gift in my lap. I undid the bow and lifted the lid. I looked up at Melodie with wide eyes.
"Where did you find this?" it was the Prada handbag I was looking for, four months and it matched my new shoes.
"I called in some favours and well... got the bag" I pulled her into a hug.
"Thank you so much" Miranda approached me with her pink box.
"Um, this is my gift," she said. I sat back down and allowed her to put the box in my lap. I lifted the lid, to reveal a light blue and white tie-dyed fabric. It was soft to the touch and it matched my new shoes and bag. I pulled out a long stretchy dress. I put it against my body before I could comment on the dress Miranda spoke up, "I got it made for you by Dani" I looked at her
"When did you do that? How-" when did she find the time?"
"Well, Dani already knows your measurements, so last month we designed a dress that would suit you" I got up and engulfed her in a hug.
"I love it"
"Good" was all she said before I pulled away. I looked at all three of them.
"Is there a reason why all my gifts match?" I asked and of course, Melodie spoke up.
"Well... I got you birthday gift months before and these two had to copy" Lorenzo and Miranda looked at her and rolled their eyes.
"We thought it would be a good idea to get matching gifts, considering we're taking you out" Miranda stated
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Oh, we can't tell you that, it's a surprise" Lorenzo put his hands on my waist starting to move in for a kiss. Before our lips touch, Melodie pulled me away from him.
"Speaking of surprise, we're taking you to get your hair and nails done. Let's go!" she pushed me towards my bedroom, leaving a pouting Lorenzo behind.
