Hu Tao: "Here here! Take a seat down on this rock here! And now, look that way. That way!"

She was saying this to me as she pushed me down onto said rock and then she went and stood behind me as she gently directed my head to face the direction she wanted me to look at.

Y/N: "Huh. Wow... this is a really nice view... you can see so much from up here!"

Hu Tao: "It truly is, isn't it!... b-But make sure to not fall! I've had to deal with quite the amount of adventurers who took in such a sight as the last thing they did! "

Y/N: "o-oh, well I'll try to be careful. You too though, okay?"

Hu Tao: "Hehe! Well I've been exploring these cliffs for years. I know these sky-scraping rocks as well as I do my own hand! I have had to come here often for business reasons too!"

Y/N: "For someone so genial... you have quite the morbid sense of humour, don't you?"

Hu Tao: "Oh? I suppose some think that, yes... why, do you not like it?"

Y/N: "N-No! It was just kind of surprising is all... I don't think death is something so scary that it should only be spoken in hushed voices... d-does that make sense?"

Hu Tao: "..."

Y/N: "Hu Tao? Sorry, w-was that offensive for your line of work? I-"

Hu Tao: "-Live in life, die in death. Follow your heart, do what you can... that's what my Grandad used to say... I don't think there's anything wrong with talking about death either. Death is its own journey after all!"

Y/N: "Huh. I guess maybe that's something you learn with your line of work then?"

Hu Tao: "Ayup! Although it's nothing but a natural part of life, it seems most would rather label us as callous than see the truth! Aiya!"

Y/N: "I suppose... I suppose some people just don't want to think about stuff like that?"

Hu Tao: "Huuuu... I guess. They're the same with all things supernatural... any mention of the other side and they all go into hysterics- but I would have thought them to be interested in where the client was going?"

Y/N: "Supernatural huh? Are these Vision rock things not considered supernatural then? I thought these things were meant to be something people wanted?"

Hu Tao: "Well, a Vision gives you abilities beyond that of the average person with little to no effort after requiring one. Aiya! I guess most people would rather their lives be easier than be more informed!"

Y/N: "I suppose you can't fault the average person for that though, can you?"

Hu Tao: "Mhm! ... Now that we're unfortunately back on the topic of visions, I am rather curious as to how you earned one for yourself so soon in your new life. Or did you really just find it somewhere?"
