Chapter 25: Foundation of Progress

Hu Tao: "Huuuuuuu... I'm not sure about this Y/N."

Y/N: "I don't know why you're so worried Hu Tao, it's just a new job really. And I'm actually getting paid for this one! Plus there's the benefit of me learning how to better use my Vision and this old weapon."

Hu Tao: "Hmph! What about me? I was going to train you up myself! Why do you need the Tianquan to do it?"

Y/N: "Well... I don't NEED her to do it per se... but I mean, it can't hurt, right? And you've been... you know...?"

Hu Tao: "I don't, no. What have I been, hmmm?"

Y/N: "w-Well... what with that Rite of Parting that you and your employees have been working on... you've been a bit too busy, and you always seem exhausted when we do finally get to see each other. I would hate to impose on your leisure time like that when we could instead just do something more relaxing instead!"

Hu Tao: "... I-... I see..."

Y/N: "Hey now! Why do you sound so forlorn? I thought you'd prefer more relaxing time together rather than the training sessions?"

Hu Tao: "Well... I mean, yeah, I do like our hugging sessions... but I didn't really think about how I was being an inconvenience to you, when you were relying on me and all..."

Y/N: "Please don't feel bad about it! I've leant on you so much already, and think of it this way: we get to keep doing the fun stuff, and now you can leave the scrutinising and lecturing to someone else!"

Hu Tao: "Huuuuuuu... I suppose... But still, the Tianquan? Why did she pick you, and is it just going to be the two of you? I can't help but feel... as uneasy as a spirit that can't be put to rest!"

Y/N: "It won't be just her, no. From what I understand, I'll only be learning a specific thing from Ningguang, whereas I'll be getting most of my learnings on how to better utilise my Vision from Ganyu and... huh. I don't think Ningguang mentioned who would be teaching me to better use my claymore actually..."

Hu Tao: "Oh! I like Ganyu! She'll be able to teach you to use your Vision of yours way better than I ever could! I'm fine with that! But uh... what's this 'specific thing' you'll be learning from the Tianquan? And why is it exactly that you refer to her by name and not title, hmm?"

Y/N: "Yeah, Ganyu's just great isn't she! And I took your advice about just hiding Qingxin Flowers on my person, and she can totally tell where they are with nothing but the smell! And she really can't help but try sneaking glances to see if she can figure out exactly where I'm hiding it!"
